Garden International School, Rayong – Science Students Reach for the Stars While Tackling Real-World Challenges 🚀🔬
A massive round of applause to our brilliant Science students for their incredible work on our latest collaborative project!

Students fearlessly tackled the complex question:

"To what extent is the pursuit of space exploration, such as the Artemis II mission, justifiable in the face of urgent earthly concerns?"

They began their learning journey in the laboratory, carrying out hands-on experiments to investigate real-world space spinoff technologies, including advanced water purification systems and solar energy innovations. Through these practical investigations, students explored how developments driven by space exploration can have meaningful benefits for life here on Earth.

Using the data they collected, students then delivered engaging group presentations before culminating the unit in a mature, thoughtful, and highly insightful class debate.

It was inspiring to watch students connect the possibilities of space exploration with practical solutions to global challenges, using scientific evidence from their own investigations to support their arguments. Their ability to analyse, evaluate, and communicate complex ideas demonstrated outstanding critical thinking and scientific understanding.

Our future is in very good hands!

🌱🍍 Year 3 students from Garden International School Rayong enjoyed a fantastic educational visit to Suphattra Land in Rayong.

During the trip, the children explored a variety of tropical fruits, including snake fruit, rambutan, and durian. They also learned how worms help create healthy soil and discovered the important role bees play in producing honey.

The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for hands-on learning, giving students a deeper understanding of farming, nature, and food production while having plenty of fun along the way.
