Science Hack Day Eindhoven

At the Workplace Vitality Hub, educational and research institutions from the region – TNO, Eindhoven University of Technology, Fontys University of Applied Sciences and imec – conduct research into how you can make employees work more actively and pleasantly. 😁

As soon as you enter the Workplace Vitality Hub, you see a variety of innovations, from bicycles as desk chairs to standing desks to soundproof boxes where you can work quietly.

🚶‍♂️ Those are some of the obvious workplace additions, but there are also innovations that include the Campus landscape, such as the PhD research Ida Damen did to bring us the HTC Work Walks, routes for walking meetings.

In the Hub's office garden, there is also a kind of lounger with a large hood around it. It is a Reload Booth from the company Ahrend - also a partner in the Hub - and TU/e ​​Industrial Design master student Joanna Rudzinska. Employees can retreat here for a while to take a nap or read something quietly. 💤
