Well a new year and time for new beginnings.
After COVID restrictions put the brakes on social gatherings. We have been limited in what we can do, but with the arrival of my daughter it has reignited my drive to connect families of Eindhoven and surrounding areas. Hi Poppins Family! It has been a while but 1 advantage of being at home due to the Coronavirus is the chance to drop a status on here!

It has been a very strange few weeks with the country slowly grinding to a halt as we try to stop the rapid spread of this virus.

Enjoy this unexpected time at home with your loved ones. But if you need any help with ideas to keep your little ones busy and you sane please drop me a message and I will do my best to help.

Celebrating 1 year since the very first Poppins Playgroup!!🎉🎊❤️😁

Thank you for your continued support and spreading the word about Poppins!

My vision for Poppins was to provide safe and stimulating environments for the families and young children of Eindhoven, enabling a support network for the parents and guiding parents with the health and development of thier children.

For me, Poppins was a fantastic way to integrate into a new city and way of life. It has also been a great way to further my professional development as well as meeting lots of new families and children along the way and creating some lasting friendships.

The road to recovery after breaking my leg last Christmas has been a long one however, I have recently had my second round of surgery and I am determined that the only way is up now!

Teachers in primary- and secondary education throughout the Netherlands will strike on Wednesday, November 6th. The education unions gave the government until Sunday to respond to their demands for more money in education. The unions received no response, so the previously announced strike will now....

Thank you for all the messages and enquiries regarding 'Poppins Playgroups'

It is great to hear people are still spreading good words considering I have been out of action this year!

Unfortunately my knee injury is sticking around so I am still unable to transport my equipment therefore unable to run the groups for the foreseeable future.

I do have an active WhatsApp group for families in the Eindhoven area where parents can share advice, events, arrange playdates and get support from each Other. If you would like to be added to this please let me know.

Firstly, thank you for all the enquiries and new likes on the page. A quick update for you all. Unfortunately my leg is still recovering 🤕 so Playgroups and other services are POSTPONED. Hopefully we should have a time scale within the next few weeks and I will let you know the plan of action.

In the meantime, I have had several Mums contact me for support and advice on various topics such as bedtime routines, starting daycare, separation anxiety, challenging behaviour and meal times, if there is a topic I can help you with please feel free to contact me.
