Tom Jacobs investigated the interaction between humans and art. With some of his work, he's taking an anthropological point of view. Jacobs tries to hold up a mirror to humankind, to show how humans and societies unconsciously behave.

His new work will be visible on the screens/billboards in the city of Eindhoven City soon.

He uses drawing, photography, and 3D software to create stories, build imaginary worlds and translate them into stenographies, furniture and toys. These works, usually made out of wood, cardboard and scavenged material, showcase a simple, intuitive way to build objects by being assembled with tape, turning these simple materials into useful and playful objects.
