🌟 BREAKING NEWS: Carbyon, our incredible alumni, has just unveiled a groundbreaking achievement in the field of Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology!

⚡"Carbyon is the first Direct Air Capture company to merge low CAPEX with low energy demand, thanks to their unique fast-swing process."

🌬️ Their unique fast-swing process has now proven its ability to capture CO2 using less than 2,500 kWh/ton, marking a significant milestone towards cost-effective DAC solutions below $100/ton.

🔍 Carbyon's pursuit of a low-cost DAC solution led to the invention of an ultra-fast CO2 capturing material, capturing up to 5 tons of CO2 annually in just a few minutes per kilogram of material. This allows for compact DAC machine designs, resulting in a CAPEX cost below $50/ton.

🌍 As COP28 begins in Dubai, these breakthroughs highlight DAC's maturation as a pivotal technology in meeting climate targets. Removing vast amounts of CO2 from the atmosphere is essential for limiting global warming, and Carbyon's advancements are paving the way forward.

🔬 Carbyon's breakthrough not only drives fundamental understanding but also fuels their mission to further reduce energy demands. Currently, they're developing their first engineering-scale machine, set to be validated in the field alongside pilot partners.

📈 Having raised $10M, Carbyon is now in the midst of a Series A round to fuel their upcoming activities.

Hans De Neve, Founder and CEO of Carbyon stated:
🗣️ "Our relentless dedication to understanding Mother Nature's laws of physics has brought us here. This milestone of 2,500 kWh/ton, alongside our low-CAPEX, all-electric technology, positions Carbyon as a frontrunner in reaching the sought-after $100/ton target."

Schenker focuses like a laser on how Incooling's young took CERN cooling technology and adapted it as a revolutionary step forward in more efficiently cooling data centers.

And she notes the award-winning collaboration between Incooling and ASML, Europe's most valuable tech company, where Incooling's approach currently is being tested.
