The craziness of the campaign has come to an end and it was a lot of fun! Hopefully, a lot of you are enjoying your new Duckie Socks and also enjoyed finding the green ducks!

The preliminary results of the elections will be announced tomorrow (Thursday) at 14:00 in the Senaatszaal of Auditorium, see you there!

Hi everyone,

We have an announcement that we would like to share with you. We, the fraction of ESR, would like to inform you that ESR and Groep-één are going to merge from the 1st of September onwards.

This is because both fractions have been moving closer and closer together in terms of their standpoints and the choices they have made in the past years. Besides that, we have been working together on projects for a while: For example, on the board grants, and this year, on the implementation of the quality agreements.

As you might have noticed, it has become harder to explain to the TU/e students what the differences between the fractions actually are. With this merger, we hope to create more clarity for the TU/e student population and to be more efficient in the council.

Concretely, we will continue as one fraction from the elections of 2019 onwards, under the name Groep-één: de Eindhovense Studentenraad.

Earlier this week, ESR attended a brainstorm about Student Housing, which was organized by members of the City Council. We are happy to see that there is a broader willingness to tackle this issue, and hope that concrete further steps will be taken soon.
