We bring men closer to their authentic selves through high-quality coaching, training and workshops with an emphasis on building integrity, radical honesty and brotherhood. MANKRACHT VISION
Creating a world where "typical men's domains" are socially accepted, wanted and desired. These domains provide connection, support and challenge for men to become the best version of themselves in order to li
ve a purposeful and meaningful life. By creating, establishing and maintaining men groups in society, we create safe spaces for men where they can experience connection, support and challenge. It is an antidote to isolation (feeling lonely), depression and underachieving (unrealised potential). Mankracht aims to make men aware of their male potential and live out this potential to the fullest. Inspire men to become the best versions of themselves and support other men to become their best versions. We inspire men to change their paradigm from self-centered competition to collaboration. DIFFERENCE MEN-WOMEN
Men and women both possess both male and female characteristics. The male component is characterized by the ability to be present, observe and make decisions. The female component is characterized by feelings, changeability and the ability to surrender. In recent decades there has been much attention paid to the position of women and the feminine in Western society. Men and women have grown so close to each other that it can sometimes be difficult for a man to identify with his male essence. By now men can change diapers and women can change a car tire. Many men also pay more attention to their appearance and there are women who do kickboxing. The original typical male and female activities are no longer so obvious and that makes the search for your own masculinity all the more challenging. Where is your masculine power and how do you connect with it? And how can you support the feminine in your partner by working on your own masculinity? Men can be in their heads a lot and tired of their responsibilities at work and at home. They can feel "lost" due to a lack of focus and direction in their own lives. How can you strengthen your responsibility, your "response-ability" for your own life? MEN'S GROUPS
Men's friends can help you move forward as a man. A sincere fellowship acts as a mirror that can show both your greatness and your pitfalls. In other men, you can also find recognition. They mostly have the same desires and the same struggles. True brotherhood goes far beyond watching soccer and drinking beer (which, of course, is also very important!). INITIATION
What was the moment for you that you became a man? In our Dutch culture, we hardly know rituals that validate the transition from boy to man. Maybe your first beer or the moment you have your first child? In other cultures there are numerous examples of this: Boys who have to spend a night alone in the jungle or boys who are not allowed to return to the village until they have killed a lion. ROLE OF THE FATHER
Often it is the fathers who play an important role in these rituals. What did your father teach you about being a man? Everyone wants a father who treats his children and his wife lovingly. A father who fulfills his role model perfectly and transmits his masculinity? But most of us have not had a perfect father and have also been raised by mothers, grandmothers and teachers. This excess of female energy may have led to your male characteristics being less developed.
