Nyenrode Business Universiteit

In de nieuwste aflevering van de Ondernemend Nyenrode Podcast spreken onze studenten met Jos Lazet, oprichter en CEO van bitcoinplatform Blockrise.

Jos begon vroeg als ondernemer, al op de middelbare school. "Je hebt veel tijd. Vrienden zaten FIFA te spelen, ik zat de hele tijd websites te bouwen."

Vanuit die basis stortte hij zich in de wereld van bitcoin. Toen de koers eind 2017 de magische grens van 20.000 euro passeerde, besloot hij zijn studie luchtvaarttechniek achter zich te laten en volledig voor het ondernemerschap te gaan.

In het gesprek gaat hij uitgebreid in op de wereld van crypto en het ontstaan van zijn propositie. Daarbij deelt hij waardevolle inzichten uit zijn eigen ervaring. De belangrijkste les: "Ga naar buiten, praat met mensen."

Daarnaast benadrukt hij de kracht van AI: "Met AI kun je veel voor elkaar krijgen in korte tijd." Zijn advies aan ondernemers: bouw een MVP om te valideren of je idee aanslaat, praat met je klanten en maak gebruik van alle beschikbare technologie.

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming some of our international partners to both of our locations: Amsterdam and Breukelen.

Over the weekend, we explored our international programs, showed them around our campuses, and gave them a glimpse of student life and Dutch culture 🇳🇱. They also had the chance to meet some of our international alumni and even experience a lecture by one of our faculty members.

Internationalization is at the heart of Nyenrode, and we look forward to hosting many more moments like this 🌎.

These Nyenrode students are working on a smart solution to a real city problem with the TwinBin, making it easier to separate deposit cans and bottles from regular waste ♻️.

With recycling systems still not always easy to use, ideas like this can actually help make a difference.
