Science, including organisations like the CDC (Center for Disease Control) and WHO (World Health Organization) attribute the causes of birth defects to a combination of genetics, behaviour, and environment. ich affects somewhere between 1 in 50,000-100,000 women. Through her own lived and spiritual experiences, she has come to understand the 'why' of birth defects, something which science cannot, at this point, answer. In the past years she has conducted research into the current scientific position on a variety of birth defects, reviewing published papers on common birth defects, anomalies, specific cultures, and much more, in order to build the case for an alternative perspective. Resourcing Wholeness is the result of this journey, offering online introduction lectures, courses, and guidance sessions for individuals and families affected by a birth defect. Through her experience with clients, as a somatic psychotherapist and existential psychologist, she has come to a deeper understanding of their significance, which she shares here with others. The Wisdom of Birth Differences framework blends science and spirituality, symbolism, quantum physics and vibrational energy and offers individuals, families, carers, helping professionals, an empowering, yet important perspective on birth defects.
