Bujinkan Tabi Dojo 武神館旅道場

Wij trainen in het Bujinkan martial art systeem. Wij trainen in het Bujinkan ninjutsu systeem. Bujinkan is een traditionele Japanse krijgskunst.

Negen zogenaamde ryūha 流派 zijn doorgegeven van Tosh*tsugu Takamatsu, 10 Maart 1889 — 2 April 1972, aan Masaaki Hatsumi 2 December, 1931 ~ . Drie van deze scholen zijn zgn ninjutsu scholen, zes zijn samurai scholen. In de Bujinkan is er geen competitie/wedstrijd. Elke ryūha bevat naast ongewapende technieken, ook verschillende wapens en bijbehorende technieken. Als je wilt mee trainen, neem dan van te voren eerst contact op.

Wednesday 18 December Caspar received his shodan 🤩🎉
Very well deserved and I hereby want to congratulate Caspar again.
Many years of hard work, with even more years of hard work ahead.
Receiving shodan means you got your first set of building blocks. Now you can show what you can build with these over the years to come!

Nastja has been promoted to 9th kyu!
It’s been a long time coming, and recently she really grew in her confidence in the techniques and ukemi.

has now also officially received his 5th kyu grade from the Honbu dojo.

His assignment was to choose 3 techniques to teach the class last training, he picked Ichimonji Gyokku Ryu style from the Kihon Happo, an escape technique from a wrist lock, and from Kukishinden ryu he picked Tsuki Komi.

And after class we set down for a nice sake, kanpai !

Fukuro Shinai part III
So the final product has been completed.

After acquiring the leather, I had to cut it to size, then punch holes along the edges.
I made some modifications to the bamboo specifically for use in the Bujinkan.
Had to visit the local leather shop again to have them split the leather strap for the handle, making it thin enough to be able to tie it into a knot.

But now the first one is complete, the things I learned on this one, I can and will apply for the next one.
But overall I am extremely pleased with the result!
And, finished right on time for tonight’s training 😇
