Have you spotted the ‘Welcome to your new student city’ campaign yet? The municipality of Breda, Breda Marketing, educational institutions and various partners are working together on a warm welcome for more than 11,000 new students. The campaign introduces students to everything Breda has to offer, encourages them to actively explore the city and contributes to a lasting connection between young talent and Breda. You’ll see bits of the campaign around the city and in online content, so keep an eye out!

My name is Emily, so choosing Paris for my Erasmus exchange felt like a no-brainer😆

Honestly, there hasn’t been a single day when I haven’t thought about Paris. Some people might say I can’t move on, that I live in the past. But those 3.5 months felt so surreal that it’s hard to forget.

As an Indonesian girl, studying in Paris was something I wouldn’t even dare to dream of.

When I was bored, I could visit the Louvre. I could walk to Notre-Dame. I would just stroll around with no destination in mind. Paris is a city that rewards curiosity. Talk to people. Ditch TikTok and just wander around. Discover places you never expected to find.

I met people from all over the world: Peru, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, and so many more. Every conversation opened my eyes, so ask questions and make friends. 🌍🤍

Most importantly, take lots of pictures. Oh, and get the raclette sandwich from the Christmas market. Trust me on that one. 🧀🥖✨

BUas (en alles wat voorafging: NWIT, VAT, NHTV) bestaat 60 jaar! Natuurlijk zijn we de archieven ingedoken om wat memorabele momenten op te halen. Kijk mee naar een tweede serie in de reeks Then and Now!

BUas (and everything that preceded it: NWIT, VAT, NHTV) turns 60! Naturally, we dove into the archives to dig up some memorable moments. Join us for a second edition in the Then and Now series!

The Netherlands is under a Code Red heat warning tomorrow. While BUas education has ended, scheduled exams will continue as planned.

Campus occupancy will be minimal, allowing students to complete their exams and head into a well-deserved break.

Please do not come to campus unless necessary.

If your exam or work genuinely requires your presence, we ask you to take good care of yourself and those around you:

- Keep windows closed — it is hotter outside than in.

- Drink water continuously, even before you feel thirsty. Keep a bottle with you all day.

- Limit physical effort as much as possible.

Please also be informed that the janitors and the Service Desk are also available for any questions.

Look out for each other. Good luck to everyone sitting exams tomorrow — enjoy your weekend!
