Loop of Vanity
It is very difficult to see the difference between a loop of Vanity and a Heartridges pattern

The loop of Vanity flow diagonally over Apollo-mount, underneath Apollo-finger which designates diagonally to the Jupiter-mount (also called the loop of Ego) with which he is associated, the ego.......

The person is self-conscious, vain, proud and has a lot of confidence.
Figure, appearance is important for him, and he criticizes others.

-Has difficulty with criticism
-Often wants to have the last word
-Can by conceit have misplaced humor
-Can be scornfully
-Can provoke criticism
-Finds it difficult to be seen his intentions.

HEART RIDGES PATTERN nr 2
[Lies beneath the Apollo-finger and resembles an inverted Tented arch pattern.]

People with this pattern responsive directly sentences incentives and are therefore easily excited and quickly motivated, both physically and mentally. But can also be hindered to enjoy excited moments. They can cope well with animals, they have imagination, its artistic and creative.

Is there also a loop of Humor present, you can see it as a protection and you can enjoy it somewhere spontaneously.

Loop of memory
[This pattern is part of the Jupiter-stream. It always begins on the Jupiter-delta !!! and runs to the ulnar Mount of Mars but can end on Mount of Luna or of Pluto.]

People with this loop are intelligent and have an excellent memory, almost photographic. Their brain is like a database in which everything what they see, smell, feel, hear or experience, will be accurately stored. They have an extra mental perception due to which they can use their primeval inherited knowledge. They have a psychological intuitive sensitivity; they can sense moods and have, as a result, insight in the psyche and motives of others.

Some sources belief that they are able to receive energies from the Quantum-field, which supposedly is the “library or memory of the Universe”. Because of this they should be able to make associations, what can be both pleasant and annoying, because they not always know whether it is fantasy or a déjà vu.

# # Does this pattern lie near the Head line or near a branch of it then one is aware of subject capabilities.
# # Does this loop lie on Mount of Luna then this tells that you have an intuitive perception and that you will see more than the directly visible.

Loop of Sensitivity
The loop of sensitivity begins in the middle of the palm and ends on de Mount of Luna (and it is not a Loop of Humor!!!!!).

The Loop of Sensitivity reveals a special ability to intuitively sense things. People with this loop are quickly sensing atmospheres or moods. And they are aware of this.
They are social and tolerant. Also they have understanding and appreciation for the psyche and motives of others.
In addition they are in an intuitive way authentic and original. Also they have a creative imagination.

Note
If this loop is situated on the lower part of the Mount of Luna, yet above the Mount of Pluto, than that indicates also a special intuitive ability to observe matters and also that they aware of this. In addition it reveals an unconscious knowledge and talent which has been inherited from ancestors.

Milieu line

[A thin downward branch of the Saturn line to Life line, down the palm.]

To a large extent, your social success is determined by influence in your childhood of parents/family or the environment in which you grew up (the "environment"). However, this line also indicates that you were hindered by them. This may be due to a strict and one-sided (conservative) upbringing. Whatever the reason, you have been hampered in your personal development and in your desire to be independent, but you have resisted it. The age at which these obstacles disappeared is shown at the end of the Environmental Line.

The hand and mythological archetypes.

In ancient forms of hand analysis, as practiced by Assyrians, Chaldeans and Babylonians, it was assumed that gods did determine the fate of people. Also that these gods had written their fate in their hands.

In ancient times different types of humans were already distinguished as archetypes, of which each was named after one of the gods in accordance with the kind of character of it.

When hand analysis became practiced in ancient Greece the different areas in the palm and also the fingers were named after Greek gods. Following the introduction of hand analysis in Rome the names were changed into Roman gods and goddesses.

In modern hand analysis the names of these Roman gods are still used, i.e. Mercury, Apollo, Vulcan, Venus, Mars and Jupiter.

Last century, as part of modern hand analysis, additional mounts and plains in the palm have been added and they got the names of the gods Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Very recently discoveries are mounts named after the goddess Proserpina and Ceres.

Every Roman god or archetype represents an essential experience which we recognize in daily life. Every mount, plain or finger has been named after a god that corresponds with the subject qualities of the character. The meaning of the properties of the fingers, the mounts and the plains, as explained in hand analysis, corresponds for a part with these archetypes. That is why these corresponding mythological names are used.
