This week we had the pleasure to be in beautiful Lambach, Austria for the EEN Student Competition 2024!

Thank you to the team at Lambach for the excellent organisation of this event and the warm welcome in your schools. The horses, people and facilities were all perfect! ⭐️

This year’s competition was the 10th one, and when we look back over the years we see that
it is always truly inspiring for our network to be able to visit these different places, bringing our students together and exchanging knowledge, cultures and ideas for the future. Thank you all for making this possible!

Last week we had this years students competition in Flyinge, Sweden 🇸🇪 As always a very successful exchange with amazing people and wonderful horses! Next year we’ll go to Austria 🇦🇹 Already looking forward to the experience!

In February representants from the EEN schools were invited to a conference at IFCE Saumur. The subject was "Ethics in the training of sport horses in equestrian educational systems". The schools representants had the chance to into depth discuss different angles of horse welfare in our different countries.

Thank you to IFCE for enabling us to gather around this most important subject in our equestrian schools.

This year the General Assembly of EEN took place in Bilzen, Belgium. Two days with constructive discussions focusing on equestrian educational questions, challenges and solutions. Thank you Paardenhumaniora Bilzen for the hospitality!

We are looking forward to our next activity, a seminar hosted by IFCE in Saumur, France. The topic at the seminar will be horse welfare and ethics in equestrian education.

Finally, the EEN Students Competition took place again, this time in the wonderfull School of Barneveld/Netherlands, on the 12th to the 14thMay, after two years waiting for the Covid 19 situation to allow us all working together.
A very good organization by staff, teachers and students from Barneveld, provided a pleasent stay and a professional environment, offering great conditions for competitors and trainers.

Due to the covid pandamic, we had to postpone the EEN competition for two years. Finally we can compete again🥳! We are busy organizing the EEN student competition in Barneveld, the Netherlands🇳🇱. We are really looking forward to it!
