We are excited to introduce our fresh and motivated team of students, all fully committed to pushing the limits of innovation and performance in our vehicle development. We are 16 students across 4 sub-teams: Commercial, Powertrain, Brakes & Suspension, and Body & Chassis. We can’t wait to keep you updated on our journey towards a greener future! 🌱🌍 Stay tuned!

We’ve made it to Poland! 🇵🇱
After a smooth journey from the Netherlands, the HAN Hydromotive team has officially arrived at the Shell Eco-Marathon, and we couldn’t have asked for a better trip.

Huge thanks to .nl and for providing us with the perfect lineup of vehicles to get here. From start to finish, the drive was comfortable, reliable, and efficient.

A special mention goes to the Toyota Mirai, not only was it incredibly smooth and enjoyable to drive, but refueling with hydrogen was also surprisingly fast and easy. This trip gave us the perfect chance to experience hydrogen mobility up close, and it’s something we’re proud to share as part of our mission toward a sustainable future.

We are excited to invite you all to the official vehicle reveal of HAN Hydromotive, taking place on Wednesday, 21 May 2025 at 15:00, at IPKW, Westervoortsedijk 73, 6827 AV Arnhem, during Arnhem Electricity Week.

Thanks to your support, our team has successfully implemented a wide range of upgrades and innovations to our hydrogen-powered vehicle. While the base of the vehicle remains the same, these improvements mark a major step forward as we prepare for the Shell Eco-marathon in Poland on 10 June.

Yesterday, we had the incredible opportunity to showcase HAN Hydromotive at IPKW HAN@Connectr, where we presented our work on hydrogen-powered mobility to an audience of teachers, researchers, and hydrogen enthusiast.

It was a fantastic moment to share our progress, innovations, and vision for the future of hydrogen mobility. Engaging with experts in the field allowed us to exchange valuable insights and strengthen connections within the hydrogen ecosystem.

Testing day with HAN Hydromotive!🚗💨
Even though the car wasn’t ready the day before, our team came together and worked late into the night to make it happen. 💪 This dedication not only got the car ready but also strengthened our bond as a team. 💡 Out in the field, we tackled unexpected challenges, gained valuable insights, and gave our driver the chance to connect with the car for the first time. Every step, every test, and every late night brings us closer to our goals! 💧⚙️

HAN Hydromotive was invited to the 24h H2 Challenge , where we had the opportunity to present our hydrogen-powered car! 🔋💧 Although we didn’t participate in the competition, we were proud to showcase our efforts and connect with other pioneers in the field of sustainable mobility.🌍⚡

Week by week, our team is hard at work improving the efficiency of the car! 💧⚙️ From refining every detail to testing new innovations, we’re committed to pushing the boundaries of sustainable mobility 🏎️🌍

Yeeeeeesssss!!!!!! Another 2nd place at the in France!!
Not only a third podium in a row, but also a new personal record, of 277km/m3!!!🥳🥳

We were 27% better than last year, which is an amazing performance, just in one year!!🤩

But all this wasn't possible without all our sponsors! We are so inmensely thankfull for all the amazing people that helped and supported us during the year!

This year we celebrate our 15th anniversary of the team! And we celebrated in style!
