What a night! 🤩
On April 22nd we witnessed the 16th edition of the Keep an Eye International Jazz Award which was pure magic! Six international bands, each with their own totally unique sound. As jury member & saxophonist Donny McCaslin put it: “There are only winners here tonight.”
Here are this year’s winners 🏆
1st Prize: Mads Riis Quintet (Jazz Institute Berlin)
2nd Prize: Temple Parliament Sextet (Boyer College of Music & Dance, Philadelphia)
Incentive Prize: ARGENA (Accademia Nazionale del Jazz, Siena)
Audience Prize: WAZO BEAN (Conservatorium van Amsterdam)
Best Melba Liston Arrangement: Justin Zitt Trio (Conservatorium van Amsterdam)
