👩🏽‍💻Good news for product designers! Nowadays it’s possible to 3D print in full color and multiple materials in a workshop or office environment.

With this printer, the J55 by , it’s possible to print up to 5 materials at a time and in more than 500,000 colours including textures and transparency.

The GrabCAD Print software supports 3MF format files, as well as the most common CAD files such as Solidworks, Siemens NX and CATIA.

🦠 This concept by ADDIT•ION is part of a project aimed to convert sleep apnea devices into ventilators for early stage patients with the objective of keeping the hospital ventilators available for severe cases.

It features two 22M standard ports for HEPA Filters and three 8mm ports for additional O2 intake.

Soft parts are thought to be in or TPU material and can be customised depending on the patient needs.

🐟Jun Kamei developed these Amphibio gills, they can extract oxygen from water to breath underwater. Just like fish do.

The 3D printed device in two parts has a respirator that is made of a microporous material that allows the passage of air.

While the saddle is printing, it appears to grow from liquid as a UV light projector shines from beneath the pool of liquid resin, crafting the intricate lattice geometries.⁣
