Результати навчального візиту ALMEX до Університету Аліканте 🇪🇸

📍 11–15 травня 2026 року партнери проєкту ALMEX взяли участь у другому навчальному візиті, який відбувся в Університеті Аліканте, Іспанія.

🎓Програма була присвячена практикам сталої взаємодії університетів із випускниками та проходила в межах WP3 “Strategic Development for Alumni Relations: Insights, Metrics, and Action Plans”.

Упродовж тижня представники партнерських установ працювали з досвідом Університету Аліканте у ключових напрямах:

🔹 кар’єрна підтримка та працевлаштування 💼
🔹 цифровий менеджмент випускницьких спільнот 💻
🔹 фандрейзинг і культура благодійності 🤝

🔐Окрему увагу було приділено програмі Alumni UA, роботі з даними, CRM-системам, сегментації аудиторій, комунікаційним процесам та дотриманню вимог GDPR.

Практичні кейси Університету Аліканте, роботодавців і партнерських організацій показали, як системна робота з випускниками може підтримувати інституційну стійкість, розвиток кар’єрних сервісів, співпрацю з бізнесом та довгострокові зв’язки між університетом і його спільнотою.

📝Навчальний візит також став простором для спільного аналізу. Учасники обговорили, які європейські практики можуть бути адаптовані в українських університетах у межах подальшої реалізації ALMEX.

Отримані висновки будуть використані у подальшій роботі консорціуму, зокрема під час підготовки звіту про кращі практики взаємодії з випускниками та розроблення інституційних підходів до alumni-менеджменту.

Results of the ALMEX Study Visit at the University of Alicante 🇪🇸

📍 From 11 to 15 May 2026, ALMEX project partners took part in Study Visit #2 hosted by the University of Alicante, Spain.

🎓 The programme focused on sustainable university–alumni engagement practices and was organised within WP3 “Strategic Development for Alumni Relations: Insights, Metrics, and Action Plans”.

During the week, representatives of partner institutions explored the University of Alicante’s experience in several key areas:
🔹 strategic alumni community management
🔹 employability and career support 💼
🔹 digital alumni management 💻
🔹 fundraising and philanthropy culture 🤝
🔹 lifelong learning 📚
🔹 inclusion and international engagement 🌍
🔹 cooperation with Ukrainian graduates abroad 🇺🇦

🔐Special attention was given to the Alumni UA programme, data-informed alumni engagement, CRM systems, audience segmentation, communication processes, and GDPR compliance.

Practical cases presented by the University of Alicante, employers, and partner organisations demonstrated how structured alumni relations can support institutional resilience, career services, university-business cooperation, and long-term connections between universities and their communities.

📝The study visit also created space for joint analysis. Participants discussed how European practices could be adapted to Ukrainian higher education institutions in the further implementation of ALMEX.

The insights gained in Alicante will contribute to the consortium’s next steps, including the preparation of the Best Practices in Alumni Engagement Report and the development of institutional approaches to alumni management.

🔹 The fifth and final day of the ALMEX study visit at the University of Alicante (Spain) was focused on synthesizing insights and designing a digital ecosystem for alumni engagement.

The fifth day focused on:
• mapping the CRM & alumni relations status quo among project partners 📊
• reviewing participant survey results and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) 📈
• a hands-on workshop on designing the digital alumni portal: from networking to mentorship and donations 💻
• a deep dive into CRM architecture, data segmentation, and GDPR compliance for secure networking 🔐
• assessing project milestones and defining next steps for the ALMEX Work Packages implementation 🚀
• final reflections on a productive week and empowering international cooperation for the next phase 🌍

Today’s sessions provided a clear roadmap for building a sustainable digital culture that will strengthen our university communities.

Ввечері четвертого дня навчального візиту учасники проєкту ALMEX відвідали щорічну церемонію Університету Аліканте Global UA Talent Gala — «Цінуємо таланти разом». Подія об'єднала університетську спільноту для визнання успішних випускників.

Про що йдеться ✨
Церемонія відзначає зв'язок між університетом та його випускниками, які досягли успіху. Цьогорічні лауреати — науковці, що працюють у Швейцарії, дослідники з Google, дипломати та куратор Музею сучасного мистецтва в Нью-Йорку. Випускники з Лондона та Цюриха приєдналися через пряму трансляцію, демонструючи, як університет підтримує контакт з випускниками по всьому світу.

On the evening of day four, ALMEX project participants attended the University of Alicante's annual Global UA Talent Gala — "Valuing Talents Together." The event brought together the university community to recognize successful graduates.

What It's About ✨
The ceremony celebrates the connection between the university and its accomplished alumni. This year's award recipients included scientists working in Switzerland, Google researchers, diplomats, and a curator from the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Graduates from London and Zurich joined via live stream, showing how the university stays connected with alumni worldwide.

This ceremony gave us practical insights into alumni engagement:
