Since many years Jasmin is singing. She sang in a couple of (big)bands, including a Tribute to Adele band, worked on her own songs and performed at weddings, in theaters and on Dutch radio.
Being very passionate about singing, she went to study at the Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen in 2014, to get to know more about the technique and improve her singing skills.

In 2019 she returned to CVI in Copenhagen to follow the three years teachers’ course, which she graduated from in June 2022, making her an Authorised CVT teacher.

Now she has the passion to make sure ambitious singers find their own voice, dare to live their dream, while having fun and feel confident about their skills and own artistic choices.

Jasmin loves to guide you to find your own voice using CVT, as she believes it is a very effective, easy technique!

To get better in singing it is important to repeat your exercises at least 3 times to get it into your muscle memory. This way your body remembers the right setting the next time you sing the song or phrase. But you have to be aware that when you repeat the exercise in the wrong way, that will also get into your muscle memory! For that reason it is important to make your exercise easier and start over again. Remember; practice makes perfect!

D’Angelo - Cruisin’
D’Angelo is using a lot of Neutral. Add some extra twang on the high notes to get more power in your Neutral in Falsetto. Try to add some creaking and vibrato to give it more character.

Why the Complete Vocal Technique (CVT)?

The Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) is a singing technique developed by Cathrine Sadolin. The main goal of CVT is to produce all sounds human can possibly make, in a healthy way. Therefore, we aren’t bound to any specific style.
When you haven’t worked with CVT before, it might be a little new that you have a lot of control during the singing sessions. Which means that you're in charge of what you want to work on with your singing. We prefer to work on the things you want to learn and things you like. Of course, if you ask us, we will give you our own taste or ideas.

A CVT teacher learns a lot of tools for different learning types, because everyone is different and learns different. Because we are able to adapt to the learning type of the singer, in most cases the singer learns more efficient and faster.
CVT teachers are technically skilled, which means they can do a lot of sound examples themselves, which often helps to understand each other and reach your goal faster.

Within CVT it is very important to create positive vibes during the singing lessons. When you feel comfortable you dare more and when you dare more, the singing gets easier!

Adele - Easy on me.
