All you see here is fear. Fear of getting hurt -> Fear of pain -> Fear of failing -> Fear of not being good enough -> Fear of giving up -> Fear of embarrassment -> fear of... and on and on and on.

These were a lot of jumps and even in success there was an element of fear if you look closely. BUT, slowly and surely that goes away, until I aim for a higher step, then it comes rrrrrushing back again! So how do you deal with fear?

I could tell you all the benefits of this wonderful and simple thing right here but I wont bother. Youre probably already hunched over and glued to your phone too much as it is.

Maybe try it for yourself for a hundred reps, or actually don't, you probably just get stuck and quit after a few tries. Freeing yourself quick after the strange sounds inside the body you've never heard before and movement/ sensations you're not used to. Give a sigh of relief when you sit back down with a sense of fullfilment for your try👍🏾

Who am I kidding, you wouldn't be interested in this anyway. It won't make you sweat or get your rpm to 160 and doesnt have a fancy name you can hashtag on your social media, but a man can dream, right? Might be best to get back to work on your laptop at the kitchen table.

This is me giving you a sh*tty💩 performance of a 'Nordic Hamstring Curl'. Didn't know it was this bad after I saw the footage 😂
So the Nordic Ham Curl is a highly effective hamstring exercise. It can help prevent hamstring injuries due to the eccentric emphasis, which shifts the hamstring's maximum force potential to longer muscle lengths.
So I just copied that last text because it looked so much better then mine.. My caption was, Its a great way to strengthen your hamstring and prevent injuries! And it will hurt like a mo@ #& fu #£$;/ the next day 😅 good enough too right?

Just a little over a month now and looking back to how I did handstands then vs now... you may not see it but the difference is HUGE! Especially the kick up and the kicking out part of the handstand🙌
This is me the second time I trained for a handstand and me from yesterday!

Bijna maar nog niet helemaal!🙌
Elke keer leer ik mn lichaam beter te controleren en stabiliseren, voel ik me sterker en krijg ik de motivatie mezelf de volgende dag te verbeteren! Soms lukt het, soms niet.
Mijn doel is om in maart een volledige handstand te kunnen! So far, so good! 💪

Na 1 week is het me gelukt om een soort van kick up handstand te doen😅🎉 ook al is het maar voor 1 of 3 seconden en ziet het er nog niet mooi uit, I'm still happy!
Nooit gedacht dat ik dit zou kunnen 😅
