In this event series, we aim to host 2 events which can support you in setting up your own creative idea. 💫 This can be anything, ranging from a creative project such as a magazine, an advocacy group, or an small business. 💼 💴

You don’t need to have an idea yet, as there will be time for brainstorming in the first workshop: however, these workshops will also be interesting to you if you are interested in entrepreneurship in general.

The first workshop will take place in the week of the 16th of January, and will be of a more of a brainstorming and networking exercise, in which you will be invited to think out your idea and what your objectives are. Next to that, you will be able to meet students and talk about their experience with setting up an initiative like, such as the students who organized Periodics and Creature. 🖼

The second workshop, taking place in the week of the 23rd of January, will give more practical guidance: since you now have a good idea of what your initiative will look like. Experts on fundraising, and advice on how to spread the word about your initiative in the most efficient way will be given.

Early registration: since the dates for this event are not confirmed yet, you can already sign up for the event if you are interested, and you will be informed directly by email on the specifics of the events.

IDFA is a film festival that is an integral part of cultural life in Amsterdam. Thanks to the TDP you can go for free to one of the two screenings you voted for on Instagram!
The first is 'This is Not a Film', made by an imprisoned Iranian filmmaker about his and other artists' life under a tyrannic regime. The film was smuggled out of the country in 2015, and now its creator is yet again imprisoned. It will take place Thursday 17th of November at 18.15 in Kriterion, just outside the Roeterseiland campus!

The second screening is 'All you see', about those who immigrate to the Netherlands, their search for authenticity and challenges to their identity. It takes place Friday 18th of November at 18.30 in International Theater Amsterdam - a historical, iconic and very picturesque venue in the centre of night-life at Leidseplein.

We meet outside the venue 15 mins before! Don’t be late and remember that due to a limited amount of ticket a no-show fee of 5 euros applies!
