We are READY! In 2 days, 22 runners in Amsterdam, Berlin and Switzerland will be running the Dam2Dam run for Equal Chance from their homes to collect money for the poorest kids in Cambodia! ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐
We've already secured more than 2'000 EUR - that's 40 children in school for a full year - and we want more! ๐ช๐ผ
Every single EUR counts, as already 5 EUR send a child to school for 1 month.
Thank you for your contributions! Together we can give every child an Equal Chance and make this world a better place ๐

2020 is a strange year - and we all feel it and are impacted by it. So too are the poorest children in Cambodia, whoโs families canโt afford to send them to school without our help.
Equal Chance is supporting the education of 500 children in 2 schools in the province of Battambang, Cambodia.
And this year - the 4th year in a row - we again participate in the Dam tot Dam run on September 19 and 20 to raise awareness and urgently needed funds for those families and their schools. Due to the pandemic, this yearโs edition of the run is a bit different, however the donation based fundraising isnโt:
YOU can join the race and run (or walk) WHEREVER YOU ARE to collect funds for the kids in Cambodia! ๐
Have a look at this Google form with some more information and for you to sign up: https://forms.gle/riZ6ve9synEw7ga9A
We would be delighted to have you in the team! ๐ช

Today we visited 10 families in their homes in Banan village in Cambodia. I am so inspired by the love those people have for their children and the children of their community.
Too many children do not live with their parents because the parents either work elsewhere or have passed away, however all children are loved and taken care of by relatives or neighbors. Despite the fact they do not have a lot they are sharing and smiling and welcoming.
And since 2017 those children also have the opportunity to go to school and get education to strengthen their own and their community's futures.
Like Equal Chance to stay updated and share to spread our mission to bring equal chance to all children.

Today we had one of the most humbling experiences, meeting for the first time some of the 300 Children we are working hard already 2 years to put through school in Cambodia.
Tania had tears in her eyes when dozens of kids crowded around her to each approach personally and thank us.
Thank you supporters of Equal Chance, Wilde Ganzen and
Cambodian Child and Hope Association for making this school a reality!
Tania is staying here for 3 more days, to visit the school, the families which without help would not be able to send their children to school and some of the local administration in order to understand the needs of this community and see how we can continue helping.
