Swabit is a mobile app to help international students to integrate into the Dutch campuses, and we are preparing a big launching campaign for the Introduction weeks in the campuses of Rotterdam, Leiden, and Amsterdam.

We are involving students’ associations, students, local businesses, and Dutch brands which want to connect with these newly arrived students.

We are currently recruiting our team in Amsterdam, and we are open to offering internships to students with a business background. We are mostly focusing on students from
University of Amsterdam and Vrije University willing to develop leadership skills and promote Swabit in Amsterdam:
• Building the networks of student’s associations,
• Creating campaigns,
• Organizing small events by invitation for our first users,
• Executing marketing strategies.

Last week the EMCI track celebrated its 5-year anniversary! Nine industry leaders shared their insights on innovation, competition, and commerce in music, fashion, and nightlife.

Special thanks to our speakers: Richard Zijlma (former director of the Amsterdam Dance Event/artistic director Conservatory Haarlem), Nadine van Bodegraven (General manager of Armada Music), James Veenhoff (Fronteer Strategy - founder of the Amsterdam Fashion Week - House of Denim), Lisa Konno (Fashion designer), Dena Simaite (Noumenon), Ernst Mertens (De School), Aziz Yagoub (Perron, Toffler), Ramon de Lima (Stichting N8BM A’dam) and Patricia Weijman (JACK Amsterdam).

This event would not have been possible without the dedication from our lustrum committee (Charlotte, Sam, Henjola, Douwe), graphic designer (Cenk), symposium moderators (Sid, Alessio, Syrta, Charlotte, Douwe) and ABS for hosting the event.
