As part of the EBRD–FCI multi-year cooperation announced in 2024, the EBRD & FCI Online Receivables Masterclass has officially begun, bringing together practitioners from across EBRD partner institutions to strengthen capabilities in receivables finance through a structured, practical learning series.
Hosted by Aysen Cetintas (FCI) and Wayne Mills (Atom Advisory Limited), the Masterclass is designed as an eleven-part programme running throughout 2026, combining international best practice with real-world application across four themes: Product, Growth, Risk, and Technology & Data.

On International World Book Day, we’re celebrating the role books play in building lasting knowledge, especially in trade finance, factoring and receivables finance, where history, practice and legal frameworks matter.
FCI has published three titles that capture these perspectives:
• The Factoring Journey (Claes-Olof Livijn)
• Factors and Actors (Patrick de Villepin)
• Understanding the General Rules for International Factoring: A Comprehensive Guide (Yüce Uyanik)
Each offers a different lens on how receivables finance supports trade and working capital, from the origins of factoring, to its development as a global solution, to the rules that underpin international transactions.
Available for purchase via the FCI website.
