Hey Mensen,
Onze collega's van By the Ocean We Unite (BTOWU), die wij hebben ontmoet via het PEUKMEUK evenement, hebben sindsdien niet stilgezeten. Hoop dat jullie het zelfde kunnen zeggen.
Maar als dat wel het geval is, wees dan niet getreurd, dit weekend hebben wij een prachtig aanbod om weer in beweging te komen:
Aankomende Zaterdag om 09:00 vertrekt een historische Klipper uit de haven van Harlingen. Stap op dek en ga een middag uit varen om te leren hoe BTOWU zich hard maakt voor het verschonen van onze oceanen en hoe jij onderdeel wordt van onze gedeelde beweging. Zet jouw deel van de ecologische transitie in gang!

Dear peeps,
Our colleagues from By The Ocean We united, who we got to meat by participating in the PEUKMEUK event, have not been sitting still since. Hope you haven't either.
But don't be worried if you did, because they have arranged a very enticing way for you to get moving again:
Next Saturday morning, 10th october, an expedition will sail from the harbour of Harlingen. Sail along on a historic Clipper and learn how BTOWU organises multiple expirations, to raise awareness and conduct research about our polluted oceans. Get to know their movement, and set in motion your part of the transition.
The expedition on Saturday will be primarily in Dutch. However, check out their website and facebook for news on other expeditions and events:

Vacancie: Greendocs committee.
Are you exited about Sustainability and want to get in touch with like-minded students and passionate speakers? Than join our Greendocs Committee!!
As a member of the committee you will organize green-documentary centered evenings, inviting speakers, alone or in panels, to come talk about the sustainable subject of that evening. There will always be room for conversation and debate. Both during the program and afterwards, maybe over a drink or two.
As a member of the committee, feel free to realize new forms of discussion and communication. With the pandemic now at hand, we will have to make use of our creativity to keep organizing covid-proof Greendocs evenings.

🌿🌿💃This week, 24th -30th of September, is Sustainable fashion week!💃🌿🌿
As the name suggests, the week has been dedicated to raising awareness about sustainability in the largely massively pollutive clothing industry. By bringing together innovators and brands, organizing sustainable fashion showcases and highlighting sustainably active brands, the organizers hope to move people into action. Much responsibility lies in the hands of consumers. If consumers actively choose to buy sustainable brands this might help these brands develop, eventually leading to a greener industry. Therefore, as a consumer it is good to know which brands are actively sustainable, and which one aren’t.
