The global conservative white christian zionist and fascist money is also used to scapegoat trans people. See here a result: more explicit targeting of trans activists

Today, on International Friendship Day, we honour the quiet power of friendship—the kind that listens without judgement, lifts you in your lowest moments, and helps you find your voice when the world feels too loud.

At Intersex Peer Support Australia (IPSA), friendship means more than companionship. It’s solidarity. It’s shared lived experience. It’s showing up, holding space, and gently reminding each other: you are not alone.

Whether it's a message exchanged across time zones, a laugh in a support group, or the courage found in storytelling—our peer support network is built on the strongest kind of bond: truth, trust, and love.

“Friendship isn’t just about who you’ve known the longest—it’s about who walked into your life, saw your truth, and chose to stay.”

To all the intersex friends, families, and allies who stand beside us—you are the heart of this movement. Thank you for showing up, again and again.

📌 Tag a friend who’s held your hand through the hard stuff.

🇬🇧 TGEU challenges UK leaders on trans equality 🏳️‍⚧️

🏳️‍⚧️ Over 100,000 people joined London Trans+ Pride this weekend, making it the largest ever trans rights march in the world. The protest sent a clear message that trans people are not going anywhere, despite the recent wave of anti-trans violence in the UK.

TGEU is part of this movement for trans justice by holding UK leaders accountable.

🧑🏽‍⚖️ In May, we wrote a letter to the UK’s Prime Minister and Minister for Equalities following the Supreme Court decision in For Women Scotland, on behalf of our membership. We expressed our concerns about the overall climate on the rights of trans people in the UK, including:

🗣️ the souring of public discourse,
💢 increase in hate crimes,
🏥 rollbacks on access to healthcare, and
📚 attacks on inclusive education policies.

📬 In July, the Minister for Equalities responded to TGEU, highlighting a range of actions being taken by the UK government to protect trans people. This includes, for instance, the National Health Service (NHS) reforms and a research programme to provide puberty blockers. Unfortunately, these actions do not address the systemic problems in the UK that enable anti-trans violence.

🏳️‍⚧️✊🏻✊🏿✊🏽 We welcome open and respectful dialogue with UK government leaders, civil society, and communities to ensure that trans voices are heard in all areas of public life and policy development.

🌟 International Day of Action for Trans Depathologisation 🌟

🏳️‍⚧️ Today, on International Day of Action for Trans Depathologisation— We call for an end to the treatment of trans identities as ‘mental health conditions’.

🏥 Even though WHO ICD-11 reforms in 2019 stopped classifying trans identities as a mental health disorder, trans-specific healthcare continues to be pathologised in almost all European and Central Asian countries.

Only 🇲🇹Malta, 🇩🇰 Denmark, and eight regions of 🇪🇸 Spain (that we have info for) don’t require a psychiatric diagnosis to access trans-specific healthcare.

🩺Slow implementation of depathologisation means that access to trans-specific healthcare relies on a diagnosis rather than informed consent and individual decision-making.

💊 This leaves the door open for stigmatised views of trans-specific healthcare and about trans people as people who need fixing, making the person’s healthcare needs and desires a secondary concern.

💉 All of this affects the medical advice trans people receive, the overall environment and language used in healthcare settings, and public discussion on healthcare for trans people.

🧠 Focusing on a psychiatric diagnosis drains resources from already strained mental healthcare systems and distracts from the need for ongoing psychosocial support, which is an essential aspect of trans-specific healthcare.

🚧 This is clear when looking at the availability of psychological care in the EU. In many Member States, such as France, Ireland, Denmark, Czechia, and Slovakia, psychological care exists, but access is challenging for everyone, with trans people facing even more barriers. As a result, many trans people, often in difficult economic situations, are forced to look to expensive private healthcare, which is more often out of reach.

📅 To learn more about depathologisation and trans-specific healthcare in the EU, be sure to check out the 2024 edition of Trans Health Map 2024, out on 30 October!

Fact Check: New York Times Publishes Misleading Story On Puberty Blocker Study 25/10/2024

What we're up against in the U.S. and far beyond: Once again, the New York Times vomits up a malicious hit piece in their pro-trumpism campaign of disinformation about health care for TGD adolescents.
I'm especially saddened by this attack on our own Dr. Jo Olson-Kennedy and misrepresention of her groundbreaking research.
In these dystopic times, it's important for TGD community members, affirming professional providers, and allies to exercise caution in granting interviews with corporate media, no matter what sales pitch they promise. Given their long history of bias and transmisia, I would never trust anyone from the NYT.

Fact Check: New York Times Publishes Misleading Story On Puberty Blocker Study The New York Times claimed that a prominent gender researcher claimed that a US Study went unpublished because of politics. This is despite the researcher publishing several studies off of the data.

Equality in sports is very important. It is a way to connect with others and a great way to keep your body in shape, prevent or battle anaemia, diabetes, depression (not cure but diminish). And fro trans people it is important to counter bone density issues/.
Exclusion is a reactionary nonsensical ploy

On , we stand by 800 individuals and organizations worldwide who believe trans, gender diverse and intersex inclusion in sports is a . 🏳️‍⚧️ All welcomed the report on the right to participate in sports by Alexandra Xanthaki, the United Nations Special Rapporteur in the field of Cultural Rights.

We recognize the United Nations' power and influence in protecting the human rights of all individuals, regardless of who they are. We will continue to call on UN bodies and UN Member States to oppose discriminatory and criminalizing laws and politics that undermine the rights of marginalized communities.
