A hybrid setup brings vinyl and digital together, combining two CDJs with a turntable to move between different formats while keeping the mix connected. Vinyl can become the centrepiece of the transition, while loops and phrasing on the digital decks create space for the next track to enter.

The challenge is keeping everything locked by hand. With two tracks interacting and a third being cued or looped, the setup opens the door to longer transitions, consistent energy and a continuous narrative across vinyl and digital.
