Wil jij een actieve bijdrage leveren aan het facultaire onderwijs-, onderzoeks- en personeelsbeleid? Reageer dan op de vacature voor een student-lid in het dagelijks bestuur van de faculteit voor het studiejaar 2021-2022. Dit is een betaalde functie voor 16 uur per week. Je participeert actief in de vergaderingen van het dagelijks bestuur en brengt een studentenperspectief in bij de besluitvorming. Reageren kan tot en met 10 juni a.s.

De studentenraadverkiezingen komen er aan!

Vanaf 31 mei tot en met 4 juni kan je stemmen op wie jou volgend jaar zal vertegenwoordigen in de Facultaire Studentenraad van de Faculteit der Geesteswetenschappen.

De FSR FGw steunt het protest tegen de geplande sloop van BG3, ook wel bekend als het Theo Bosch paviljoen, aanstaande vrijdag. De FSR FGw nodigt iedereen van harte uit morgen aanwezig te zijn op het BG-terrein van 16:00-19:00 uur. Er wordt anderhalve meter afstand gehouden en er is een ordedienst aanwezig. The FSR FGw supports the protest against the demolishing of BG3, also known as the Theo Bosch pavilion, this coming Friday. We invite you to be present at the BG-terrain tomorrow from 16:00-19:00. Students at the University of Amsterdam can register as a panel member for the UvA panel. With this panel, the university would like to gain more insight into the wishes, ideas and opinions of students. The UvA can use these insights to hopefully improve its communication and services for students.
All UvA students can join the panel. After joining they will receive several invitations a year to participate in an online survey, a panel discussion or an interview. With each participation students have a chance to win a gift voucher. The panel allows students to give their opinion on matters at the UvA and as a panel member they will be the first to know about research results. You can read more about this on the UvA student website.

Sinds enkele weken kunnen studenten aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam zich aanmelden voor het UvA-panel. Met dit panel wil de universiteit graag meer inzicht verkrijgen in de wensen, ideeën en meningen van studenten. Daarmee kan de UvA vervolgens haar communicatie en dienstverlening voor studenten verbeteren.
Alle UvA-studenten kunnen meedoen aan het panel. Ze krijgen vervolgens een aantal keer per jaar een uitnodiging voor deelname aan een online enquête, een paneldiscussie of een interview. Bij elke deelname maken studenten kans op een cadeaubon. Daarnaast kunnen panelleden met hun mening invloed hebben op ontwikkelingen bij de UvA en worden ze als eerste geïnformeerd over de uitkomsten van het onderzoek. Inclusive perspectives on higher education (livecast at Pakhuis de Zwijger)

The workshop 'Inclusive perspectives on higher education' was developed by SeSi and the CDO team. What difference can student noise make? What steps are needed for inclusive education? And what is the added value of participating in a pathway where your different identities are given space?

EPICUR European University is calling for applications to the EPICUR language and culture pilots. Starting from 1 March 2021, 27 (online) short courses in Modern Greek, Nordic/Scandinavian and Slavonic languages and cultures will be offered to promote European student mobility and multilingualism. Next to language learning, EPICUR students can choose courses focusing on culture, society, literature or history in relation to the above mentioned languages and regions.
