Dearest Friends of Babylonix,

We hope all of you had a good start into 2016 and relaxed at home with friends and family.
One last time we would like to announce that Babylonix as it is will no longer exist but merge together with SSIBS from the IBS.

Because of this we are selling our Babylonix Amsterdam Sweaters for €10 per piece. The colors in the pictures below are left. The red sweater is only available in L (only 4 left) and the pink one is only available in S, M and L (only a few left as well). If you would like to purchase one please contact Grace Afua Tamica or Nikita Cretu on Facebook directly.

Hey all you beautiful people! We know that you're studying hard for your exams and we hope that you pass all of them in the upcoming week :)

After this busy period, it is time to blow of some steam together with your fellow students! Babylonix is working hard at the moment to arrange two awesome events for you guys to enjoy in November.

Finding your way out of an Escape room, whilst enjoying a few drinks with a fun group, might just be what you need!

Vacancy for this school year and ongoing.

Event/Promotion Manager

For our team we are looking for a dedicated and independent student with a passion for marketing and communication to join us in the upcoming semester.

Organization
At Babylonix our passion is the organization of events to make sure all students have a good time during their studies in Amsterdam. We host regular parties, day trips, museum excursions and a lot more.

The assignment
To support our team we are looking for an independent student, who is interested in a position at Babylonix until the end of this school year at least, starting from November 2015. Your work will consist of setting up events, assisting the organisation's marketing campaigns, contacting with our partners, creating newsletters and working on a corporate social media strategy. We certainly expect self-implemented ideas, independent work attitude and responsibility.

Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of English / speaking and writing
- Being able to speak (some) Dutch is a plus
- Outgoing personality
- Affinity for social media marketing
- Strong organisational skills
- Team player

We offer
- The chance to actively shape the IBS experience
- A great extra-curriculum activity to improve your CV
- A monthly expense allowance paid by the HvA
- A relaxed atmosphere in which teamwork and collegiality are important

Candidate Profile
- You are available 8 hours per week
- You are creative and have good communication skills

We at Babylonix had a blast with all of you this school year. Thank you everyone who showed up and made this year grand! We are looking forward seeing most of you after the summer, and will then have plenty of new events and parties planned out for you.
