UvA Talen is the independent language centre of the University of Amsterdam.

On Thursday 10 September, we’re opening our doors for our annual Open Evening! 💙

Come by and try one (or more) of our free 20-minute language workshops in Dutch (NT2), English, Italian, Spanish, French and Japanese.

Meet our team and teachers, experience what our lessons are like and find out which course and level suits you best with a free intake. And of course, an Open Evening wouldn’t be complete without some extras: goodiebags, a photobooth, snacks from different cultures and plenty of other treats! And we may have one more little surprise in store for everyone who attends… Let’s just say it might make signing up for your next course a little more tempting. 👀 (Hint hint… discount code 🤫)

The Open Evening is free, but make sure to sign up in advance to claim your spot in your preferred workshops. Link in bio!

Please note that our ground floor information desk will be closed during some weeks this summer due to the holiday period. Need help or want to register for a course? You’re still very welcome at our information desk on the 1st floor (entrance next door, Roetersstraat 25), Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00. And of course, you can also register for your course anytime via our website.
