In September 2012, House of Denim and ROCvA launched the Jeanschool, the first of its kind anywhere in the world. The course covers the entire process from plant to pant; the industry cycle from inspiration, moodboard and collectioning process, through pattern making, sampling and
sourcing, to production – yarn, weaving, cutting and stitching, laundry and finishing; and finally, right through to logistics, sales and retail – all with an emphasis on craft and sustainability. Since practical excellence is so important for our industry, the curriculum is developed in close conjunction with HTNK and its network of industry experts.
