Dear third year students,
As the PC, we are interested in hearing about your thoughts as the first cohort to experience the Dual Language Bachelor of Anthropology at the UvA.
For this reason, we are conducting focus group discussions (FGD) to get a better understanding of the strengths, challenges and points of improvement of this course from the student perspective and be able to further improve on it in the coming years.
We would really appreciate your participation in one of our sessions, we will be holding these in both English and Dutch and will have five groups in total. If you are interested in joining, please fill in the form below. The first 20 students to sign up with receive a €15 voucher! Thank you for your help!

Dear students,
We had quite a short agenda this meeting, however that gave us enough time to have more in depth discussions! Above is the update for this month’s meeting. This month, we specifically encourage students who have suggestions and ideas about facilities for students with disabilities to share their thoughts with us!
We also welcome ideas on how to make study advisors more visible to students as they are experts in tailoring to the needs of students.
To get in contact you can email us with our new email: [email protected] ! Have a great rest of the week. 📝

Dear students,
As the Program Committee (PC), we have heard that many students were unable to find appropriate accommodation. The main goal of the PC is to higher the level of education for students, we and the course coordinator are concerned about the housing issue and want to assess how big the problem is. We want to use this information to raise awareness of the issue at the UvA and beyond (for example, to the Amsterdam City Council) since we cannot do much about this problem directly. Please fill in the questions in the survey which you can find in the link on our linktree and share it with your fellow students, it will take around 5-10 minutes to complete.
Thank you!

As mentioned previously, we will post monthly meeting updates for you all to know exactly what we are discussing!
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, feel free to message us or contact your cohort representative and we will add your input to our agenda for the next meetings. Above is the October meeting update which included mostly introduction rounds and what we want to focus on in the coming year. Our next meeting will focus on the course evaluations and advice about implementations and changes in regard to the student’s input on their courses. We hope to hear from you and wish you a great, relaxing weekend.
