On this day, we invite you to celebrate her life and vision with a gift that creates real opportunities for the next generation.

The Ria Higler Fund aims to alleviate financial barriers by offering scholarships to one or more SNDO students from countries outside the European Union. As tuition fees for international students in the Netherlands continue to rise, many aspiring choreographers face significant challenges in accessing education at SNDO. Through this fund, we aspire to make SNDO more accessible to talented individuals from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

SNDO ALUMNI AT WORK: VINCENT GIAMPINO

Xing presents at Raum, Bologna, Intercity Night, the last session - open to everybody - of a study experience on celebration, conceived by choreographer Vincent Giampino and related to dance as a psycho-physical-social environment, conducted together with five performers selected through an open call (Costanza Nani, Alex Paniz, Giorgia Polverini, Nicolò Russo, Bianca Zueneli) with a live set by talpah.

On this night, the participants become hosts, guests as well as custodians of an experience that invites everyone to take part, in a rhythm that alternates listening with amusement, caring with dispersion, presence with ‘the party’.

This month we gathered for a graduation ceremony to celebrate the SNDO graduates, class of 2025, a group of inspiring artists who have now become alumni of the School for New Dance Development. 🌊🎓

First on a boat, surrounded by joy, wind, and the Amsterdam sun! ☀️🛥️

Later, at ATD’s Studio 809, where the graduates signed their diplomas and the third‑year students offered beautifully crafted and sensitive tributes to each graduate, making everything even warmer.
