Also, the 'winners' of CYP will go to the Preliminary Round (aka 'Regionals') to compete with other schools and make it all the way to the National Selection Conference, which is seriously an epic experience! Suit up! Tomorrow the CYP organising team will be deciding who's to be the newest team of EYP'ers of the Cygnus. So bring your fancy suits and robes, come jolly and giddy as only true EYPeople can be, and we will be more than glad to see you all debate and perform.
Remember to be there, on the schoolyard, tommorrow at 13:00.
Mind you, however, that you might end up like the EYP'er portrayed in the picture below should you get selected...

Eindelijk, hier zijn ze dan, een paar foto's van onze 8 helden die zich in de Nationale EYP selectie in Maastricht dapper hebben geweerd. Zodra de uitslag binnen is, beleg ik een bijeenkomst met alle Cygnus EYP'ers om het te vieren of om een traantje te plengen.

Today our annual CYPrelims took place! It was a great day with great participants and the organising-team would like to thank all of them for their enthousiasm and eagerness in participating! We are coming up with the selection as soon as possible and we'll let you all know this week! Cheers!

The Cygnus delegation arrived at the Stayokay this Friday, together with all other schools participating in the NSC 2016, and they are now in the middle of this unique experience! We wish them the best of luck for the second half of the session but, knowing them, they won't need any help whatsoever!

We are so proud and thrilled to announce that Cygnus has won their Preliminary Rounds in Bussum!
The kind words of Mrs Vermeiden perfectly phrase our pride:
Wat was de presentatie van de uitslag spannend!!!!!! En YES, Cygnus heeft zaterdag in Bussum de selectieronde gewonnen.
Het was een zware debatwedstrijd met zeer sterke tegenstanders. De euforie was des te groter. De hieraan voorafgaande training op school en bij E&Y door de alumni EYP'ers van het Cygnus heeft hier een grote bijdrage aan geleverd. Nu op naar de nationale ronde in februari.
The National Selection Conference will take place from 5-8 February 2015, and everyone is looking forward to it immensely.
All of the Alumni are so proud of this year's delegation, for winning in such a thrilling and fruitful debate, with a lot of strong opponents, and we wish them good luck, interesting debates and of course, fun at their National session. They are out of our hands from now on!

The time has come to deliver you from your fears and wonders. After long debates the new team has been formed! The Cygnus Youth Parliament is proud to present to you the new generation of EYP'ers, consisting of:
Bas de Z, Job A, Marijn, Sammy, Samuel, Sophie, Sytze and Zina.
Congratulations to them all! This talented bunch of enthusiastic people will represent the Cygnus at the upcoming Prelims. We look forward to be your tutors for the time being. We know that these fresh EYP'ers are more than capable of achieving the greatest of things in the EYP world!

Suit up! The big day is finally here, today we will be selecting the new Cygnus delegation! We are all ready and set to go, now it is up to the delegates themselves! Who will make the cut and who will thus be going to the Preliminary Rounds in Bussum this December? We can't wait to find out!
