This is what I love to do: no preparation, no pre-selection, no plan. I just go through the crates and find the next song to play and figure out how I’m going to bring it in. Freestyle all day!

In this case it starts with the Neural Mix feature (stems) to turn the Tha Rayne song into an instrumental and blend it with the Amerie song that just has the vocals playing (also by using Neural Mix). Now we have a live mashup. After that, I bring the Tha Rayne song in with the Joe Budden “Jump off” vocal, that starts a half-count before the one. If you know your music, you’ll know things like this, and just by seeing the title of the song, I can already imagine using that vocal to cut it in!😀

Not to rant, but this is why I sometimes dislike a lot of the social media DJ clips: DJs behind the decks with a 100 people behind them (cosplaying a Boiler Room set), doing a prepared basic transition and close-up shots of all the people behind them overreacting/overacting to this basic AF transition! FOH🤣🤣🤣
