So early in the year? Yes, for with this Fest we are celebrating 10 years of Jam With Humans. Thus, we started early making sure this will be a special one!

What a smashing way to end this season of Humans And Friends shows than by having harpist Arielle making us dance, play and draw, while showing us the work she and our maestro Albert have been developing for an upcoming performance!

Monday May 11 at Parlour, Humans And Friends features Arielle (harp, NYC) and Albert HC Manders (flutes).

They've been a duo for years, starting in contemporary classical and slowly letting improvisation and dance reshape what they do together. They're currently building a new performance around that crossover, with a tryout on May 30, and our night is an early look.

This will be an improvisation in a duo format, with players from our orchestra jumping in, and an interactive jam with visual cues and room for the audience to move with the music. If you want to play, bring an instrument. If you want to listen, just turn up. Can't be in Amsterdam? jam.show/live.

In July of 2025, Daniel, André and Nic took residence at the old Convent of Saint Francis in Montemor-o-Novo, Portugal. Our hosts, Oficinas do Convento, gave them pretty much unrestricted access to all those rooms in the convent, one of them harbouring a literal pile of instruments, another of them an ex-chapel.

The result is "Chapel Music", launched last March 30th in Bandcamp. 🥁 Check the links in the comments section!
