✅Support us to map pre-pandemic practices across the sector of GLAMs (galleries, libraries, archives and museums) to fully account the pandemic effects on the sector and to explore novel solutions that will inform GLAMs response and adaptation to the post-pandemic era, under a new conceptual paradigm that will advance GLAMs as the agents of change.
⚠️We almost reach our goal and propose to extend the deadline to June 30, 2023.
▶️Respond to our online survey https://survey.zohopublic.eu/zs/VMBjfE
and help us to:
i) provide an in-depth analysis and evaluation of ongoing shifts (with a specific focus on both pandemic-driven transformations and digitalisation) in the field of GLAMs,
ii) explore and assess practices (concerning management, finance and participation) that emerge around small scale, community-led GLAMs and the possibility of transferring relevant knowledge to more “established” and traditional ones to provide more sustainability to the sector.
Thanks for your support!

Happy to share our work with Cristian Campagnaro on Design for Social Change. Join us on the 23rd of May.
Our upcoming conference has 40+ sessions from presenters around the world including this super interesting session "Design for social change: on new practices that foster knowledge transfers from design sector elsewhere".
Presenters Dr. Lyudmila Petrova and Cristian Campagnaro will first reveal the practice of design for a social change in the case study of “Costruire Bellezza”, a permanent and interdisciplinary laboratory aimed at social cohesion. The rationale of the workshops is to stimulate “beautiful heals” for the homeless through fostering their own creative potential and the experience of relationships with others (Campagnaro, Porcellana, 2016). Second, they will discuss an interdisciplinary methodology through the integration of both the Design Anthropology Approach and the Value-Based Approach to capture in a systematic way the way shared values are generated and/or enhanced throughout the design activities.

Interesting how the Value-based approach works in practice?
Tomorrow, during the seminar Measuring the unmeasurable, ENCATC, together with Susana Graca and professor Arjo Klamer we will present how the approach applies to the arts and culture projects.
