A quite unique family photo from the early sixties, especially for this day in the Netherlands, where Santa Claus is visiting many children at home. Brother Corame (hidden in the belly of Santa) is checking the situation on this special occasion! Happy days during this last month of 2020 for all you LightTribers!

For me the last message on this podium. Corame is slowly but surely loosing contact during the video calls he is receiving from his family to Bali. Reactions are fainting... a sad reality to deal with.

The founder of LightTribe in younger years. At the time of this snapshot the family was living in Maastricht, at the south part of The Netherlands. Yearly there was a big fun fair at Vrijthof in the middle of town. And yes, everybody chipped in with all savings we had as kids to do as many rounds as possible on different rides. Cars were favorite for Corame! And I, as the youngest of the gang, was often allowed to sit next to my big brother! You can see that it was serious business...

Unfortunately it is again serious business. If it would be possible to travel there would be a good chance that Corame would sit in a car, next to me, driving over the roads of Bali. This time he would not be on the steering wheel. His health condition is not getting any better. Still he needs 24/7 care. Otherwise he will not survive. Support is still very welcome. A short update over the health situation of Corame: He still is taken care of by 24/7 nurse monitoring and care in his Bali home. With stabilization of his health, the possibilities to transfer him to a local nursing home are taken into account. Unfortunately it will still take time before any of his family members can travel his way. Almost daily there is contact through the people near Corame to check on him and have short WhatsApp conversations.

The following ‘story about the old days’ is shared by his family: Corame/Fred was about 10 years of age. With his younger sister (7) and brothers (5&3) the family was living in the south part of Holland. At that time Corame/Fred was truly ‘the leader of the gang’! He had established a special society for his younger family members under the name of ‘Small but Brave’ (Klein maar Dapper) and came up with all sorts of exiting excursions and games for his group of members. On a lazy summer day, he arranged a guided tour for his ‘gang’ (when both parents were on a visit away from home) to the top of the house, to show his followers a bit more of the surroundings! And there we were, four young kids enjoying themselves, sitting in the roof gutter! Most memorable of that excursion was the moment we heard loud sirens of the fire brigade, heading towards our street on a rescue mission, being alarmed by frightened neighbors witnessing a pretty unusual sight…

Look at our Corame in better times! Very unexpectedly, especially for everyone who has not been in touch with Corame over the last years, our founder has sadly gotten himself into serious problems.
We all know Corame as an inspiring free thinker and unique spirit who has always been a warm supporter of other free thinkers! He has been very generous in his approach to any (new) friend coming his way and has done everything within his power to make this LightTribe community glow & grow! It has literally become his life passion! Corame never has shown any interest in typical rules and regulations in ’the normal world’. He has always been much more focussed on the individual spirits he met along his way. Over the last years he has taken less and less care of himself. He spent all his money and energy on his dream. So when his CRY FOR HELP reached his family last winter, they did not know what to do in first instance. Although dementia and loss of short term memory gradually took hold of him he clearly showed to hold on to life. As time goes by the chance of recovery becomes less. Corame's ‘fighters mentality’ (as an important quality throughout his live) is purely fixated on survival. ’Giving up’ has NEVER BEEN in his dictionary. Creating a worthy last chapter for Corame, is where we can help. With a monthly donation of € 25 or € 50 you will be an essential contributor in his care. 100% of your support will go into Corame-care, on his beloved Bali, Indonesia. The funds are controlled by Corame’s sister Lily, and distributed in weekly installments to cover costs and Balinese support. The general Corame-care is also monitored by LightTribe members itself. Dear friends of Corame,

Corame is in serious need of financial help for his health care!
In the past 1,5 year Corame has suffered at least 2 strokes with severe damage to his memory, speech and writing abilities.
His situation has deteriorated significantly since a couple of month ago. There is no recovery in sight; a significant risk of heart failure remains and incipient dementia is a fact.
Corame is in Ubud under 24/7 medical supervision at home. This is what he unfortunately cannot live without.

With the current medication and medical advice it is not possible to leave Bali. Corame is uninsured, so everything that has to be done is at his own expense.With a limited state pension (€ 500) from the Netherlands the family is organizing everything for him and have done major financial support (over € 20.000) since 2019

At this point, € 2,000 / € 2,250 is needed to fit in to care for Corame.
The situation is not tenable for brother and sister to largely bear as sponsors.
Please help by a monthly/ 6 monthly or yearly contribution of 25 or 50 euro per month. The bank account solely dedicated to Corame's care is monitored by his sister and transfers weekly/monthly installments to Bali. Your contribution can be deposited into the following account number
