L'école de français We specialize in teaching children, adults and professionals in the Amsterdam area and online.

In June 2016 L’école de français was created by two friends, ex-colleagues and both teachers sharing the same values and ideas on how to teach French. In 2020 Céline Dandoy took over alone the direction of the school.

We offer services as close as possible to the needs of those who wish to learn or improve their skills in French. In individual or group lessons (maximum 8 students

), taught by native teachers, it is about learning in French even for beginners while having fun.

Does your partner end up translating everything when you visit their French family? 🇫🇷💬

Imagine being able to introduce yourself, talk about your day and ask a few questions yourself. Those first little conversations can mean a lot.

Whether you’re learning for family, travel or a personal goal to speak French confidently by the end of 2027, you can start building the foundations now.

Our A1.1 Beginner French Course welcomes complete beginners. Learn step by step with one of our passionate teachers, alongside a small group of people starting just like you. Questions, mistakes and laughter are all part of learning. 💙

Rain, strikes… and a lovely evening together! ☔🥂

Envie de vous mettre au piano, de composer ou d’explorer les musiques électroniques ? Tanine Kian, pianiste et musicienne électronique, propose des cours pour les enfants, les ados et les adultes, du niveau débutant au niveau avancé. 🎶

This course is designed for complete beginners. You will progressively learn how to introduce yourself, ask and answer simple questions, talk about your preferences and communicate in everyday situations.

At L’école de français, our groups are limited to a maximum of 8 students. This gives everyone time to speak, practise, ask questions and receive personal guidance.

Your course also includes:

🗣️ An interactive approach focused on real communication

The group with Rémi started last week, but we are still welcoming new students next week. There are currently 3 places available.

Notre cours « Lecture & écriture – niveau 3 » commence le lundi 7 septembre à Amsterdam.

Avec Lucas, les élèves développent leur compréhension de textes, enrichissent leur vocabulaire, consolident leur grammaire et apprennent à écrire des histoires, des dialogues, des lettres, des résumés et des textes personnels.

Vous êtes francophone à Amsterdam et vous avez envie de faire du théâtre autrement ?

À L’école de français, notre groupe est réellement limité à 8 participants. Ce choix permet à chacun de disposer d’un véritable temps de jeu, de proposer ses idées et de recevoir un accompagnement attentif.

Avec Lucas, vous ne venez pas simplement apprendre une pièce ou répéter un rôle déjà défini. Vous découvrez une sélection renouvelée de scènes courtes, puis vous choisissez, adaptez et transformez les textes ensemble. Vous pouvez redistribuer les rôles, modifier les personnages, changer le contexte ou imaginer un autre dénouement.

Au fil des séances, vous travaillerez la voix, le corps, l’improvisation, les personnages et la mise en scène. Un cadre clair, mais suffisamment de liberté pour que le projet appartienne réellement au groupe.

C’est aussi une manière de prendre confiance, de lâcher prise, de développer sa créativité et de rencontrer d’autres francophones. En rejoignant ce cours, vous entrez également dans la communauté de L’école de français, avec des rencontres et des activités proposées en dehors des cours.

Aucune expérience théâtrale n’est nécessaire. Ici, personne ne reste spectateur.
