This is what adenomyosis looks like.
Not in a medical textbook.
In real life. On a Sunday morning. Hovering over the toilet. Missing the gala you spent all weekend planning. Crying — again.
shared her morning with us raw and unfiltered. The pain. The cancelled plans. The embarrassment of saying "I'm on my period" at nearly 30. The exhaustion of a body that feels like it's working against you.
This is not dramatic.
This is not in your head.
This is what so many women carry — in silence, in shame, alone.
If you have adenomyosis, endometriosis, or period pain that controls your life — your experience is real. And it deserves to be taken seriously.

“Coach” is such a funny word.
In English, it’s:
• a vehicle that carries people
• someone who trains athletes
• (and yes… another form of transport 😆)
And then there are the ones who support us as humans.
Life coach.
Business coach.
Career coach.
Executive coach.
Mindset coach.
Health coach.
All there to help “carry” us in some way.
But if we’re honest… it can feel confusing.
Who does what?
How do they help?
How do you know who’s right for you?
I’ve coached teams.
I’ve studied coaching.
I deeply believe in growth and development.
And yet… I’d never really had a coach myself.
Partly because years ago, it just wasn’t really a thing.
But also because, if I’m honest, I thought I was… uncoachable.
Last Monday, I had a session with Deepa Kakkar .deepa
I’d forgotten I’d even booked it after our intro session (very me).
But I showed up.
And I’m so glad I did.
What came up surprised me:
• I don’t celebrate my wins. Big or small. I just move on.
• I operate from fear more than I realised.
• I feel stuck, even when I’m actually moving forward.
• I focus on perfection instead of progress.
• I worry about being judged for where I am.
• My self-care slips… because work always feels more urgent.
Saying these things out loud, and having them reflected back with clarity and care…
It shifted something.
It felt lighter.
Thank you Deepa, for your wisdom, your calm, and for helping me see my own patterns more clearly.
And it also reminded me why I’m building Womanship.
Because finding the right kind of support shouldn’t feel confusing or out of reach.
We’re creating a space where women can explore different types of health and wellness professionals
– understand what they do
– feel what resonates
– and connect when the timing is right.
All in one place. Without the guesswork.
We’re currently evolving the platform based on everything we’re learning along the way, with professional memberships launching soon.
If you’ve ever felt unsure where to turn, or like you have to figure it all out alone…
You don’t.
🧡
Curious…
Have you ever found support that really shifted something for you?

👇 How do you feel about your body image right now?
✨ Let's talk about something we don't say out loud enough.
🌺 I'm at peace with it
🌺 It's a work in progress
🌺 I really struggle with it
🌺 It depends on the day
Vote below. No judgment. Just truth.
The pressure to look a certain way.
The days you avoid the mirror.
The moments you feel like your body is working against you.
It's not just you.
It never was.
Every scar, every curve, every part of you that you've been taught to hide — it belongs here.
At Womanship, we believe beauty isn't one thing.
It's every woman who shows up, exactly as she is.
Save this if it speaks to you.
Share it with a woman who needs to hear it.
You are not alone in this. 💛

Join us. Reach the women who need you most.
Heart disease is the number one killer of women.
Not breast cancer.
Not ovarian cancer.
Heart disease.
And yet, awareness is shrinking, not growing.
Women are being misdiagnosed.
Women are being dismissed.
Women are dying from something most of them don't even know to watch for.
This is the conversation nobody is having loudly enough.
So we're having it. 💛
Are you a health or wellness professional?
Your expertise belongs in this conversation. Womanship is where women come to ask the questions they've never felt safe asking and where trusted professionals show up to answer them.
This made us pause.
Because it's not just about periods.
It's about everything we're told is "normal"… without ever being shown what that actually means, when "normal" looks different for every single one of us.
The pain.
The confusion.
The moments where you quietly wonder, "is this just me?"
And then we expect others to understand.
How could they.
If many men grow up without ever being taught what this actually involves.
When so much of it has been shaped by silence, shame, and things we're taught to keep to ourselves.
It's not surprising there's a gap — in our conversations, in healthcare, in understanding.
We've all been part of a culture that doesn't fully show it.
What this campaign captures so well is that disconnect between what's said… and what's lived.
And maybe the shift doesn't start with better explanations.
It starts with us being more honest.
First with ourselves.
Then with each other.
Because when we realise how much of this is shared, it stops feeling like something we carry alone. 💛

Nobody told us that getting older meant carrying more. 2 in 3 women say their worries have increased with age. Not decreased. Not resolved. Accumulated.
Let's talk about that.

We are such intuitive beings.
And yet so many of us still find ourselves second-guessing that voice.
Recently I experienced Systemic Constellations for the first time.
What it gave me wasn’t an answer.
But a completely new perspective.
It also reminded me how many powerful modalities exist to support women’s wellbeing – and how little most of us know about them.
So I wrote about the experience.
Following Intuition When Self-Doubt Is Loud
And next week on Womanship I’ll be hosting a conversation with Systemic Constellations practitioner Nadia Eliseeva .life.enery to explore how this fascinating approach works.
✨ No hard sell.
✨ Just curiosity and conversation.
Because sometimes the first step isn’t certainty.
It’s curiosity.
And a willingness to explore what might help us worry less.

International Women's Day has passed. But this conversation? It's just getting started.
Two weeks ago at DHB Bank .bank we didn't celebrate.
We got real.
I facilitated a session around one simple but powerful question:
What helps women perform at their best at work — and what sometimes gets in the way?
Different roles. Different nationalities. Different life stages.
One familiar pattern.
Women rarely arrive at work as a blank slate.
They arrive carrying caregiving, health concerns, financial pressure, hormonal shifts, grief, relationship strain — and the invisible mental load of daily life.
Most workplaces are not designed with that reality in mind.
But when organisations acknowledge the whole human behind the role — something shifts.
🌺 Psychological safety increases.
🌺 Confidence and voice expand.
🌺 Sustainable performance becomes possible.
Thank you to Lauren Valbert of Training2.0 for a wonderful collaboration — and to the team at .bank, especially Adelaïde Mafubo, for creating space for this conversation.
As Womanship steps into more corporate environments, we're also opening doors for the incredible health and wellbeing professionals in our community to bring their expertise into the workplace.
Because women spend a lot of their life at work.
And they deserve to be supported there too.
💛 Curious to hear from you — especially if you lead a team or organisation:
What is one thing workplaces could do to better support women?

Every day. Not just March 8th. 💛
International Women's Day was last Sunday.
But this? This doesn't have a single day.
Women make up 77.6% of the healthcare workforce.
Two-thirds of them are mothers.
By 2036, the majority of physicians will be women.
And still — they come home to lunches on the counter.
Still — they are told to tough out their pain.
Still — they carry it all, quietly.
But something is shifting.
Emotional intelligence is replacing emotional detachment.
Patient-centred care is replacing an antiquated system.
Women are leading the next age of medicine.
And they are doing it while showing up, for their patients, their families, their dreams, and each other.
This is the kind of change Womanship exists to amplify.
