Last night was our FYSA End of Year Celebration🎉 !! We’re so proud of our FYSA 2024 students for completing their first year at Tech, and their first semester on campus!!
The photo booth was a big hit… Here’s to many more years of FYSA celebrations!!

FYSA has come so far from its first cohort in Fall 2021. We’re so proud of our first cohort for doing such amazing things in their time at Tech, and we can’t wait to see what you do next!!
We also have a few early bird graduates from our 2022 cohort - including our first Oxford student to graduate!
Yesterday we gathered to celebrate these incredible students with certificates, and it was so nice to see them reunite and catch up with faculty and peers.

Hi everyone! My name is Carson Nordmann and this weekend, I’ll be doing a special edition spring break takeover in Amsterdam! A bit about me:

- I previously did FYSA @ GTE in my Fall 2023 semester and have been a student assistant for the program since Summer 2024

- My hometown is Orlando, FL

- I am a chemical engineering & history double major

Joining me are my friends Steven, who did FYSA @ GTE in 2023 and traveled with me everywhere, and Eliza, who did FYSA @ Oxford in 2023 and is studying at GTE this semester. Join us as we visit the city of canals, stroopwafels, and tulips!

Last week we had two events: Gold Carpet Day and our Paper and Clay event!
Gold Carpet Day is for admitted students who want to come learn more about Tech campus. We had some awesome student helpers at our tabling and our information sessions. Next Gold Carpet Day is March 24, and we hope to see you there!!
Our Paper and Clay event was just chill ceramic painting after a long day of classes. The best way to wind down!!
Our spring programming is meant to ease students back into campus life and provide FYSA leadership opportunities. We’re so glad our FYSA ‘24 cohort is back!

Get hype!! FYSA invitations for newly admitted students are coming out starting today! Keep an eye on your email this week!!
Remember that FYSA has a limited number of students, so send in your deposit as soon as you’re sure that FYSA is the path for you!!

We had a great turnout at our Re-entry event / Global Leadership Mixer last night!
Our FYSA students learned how to reflect on their travel experiences and how to use FYSA to improve their résumé’s and interview skills.
In the second half of the event, the Global Leadership LLC joined us to mix and mingle with pizza and human BINGO.

Welcome Back 2024 Cohort!!!! We’re so excited to see you around campus! In celebration of your safe return, we threw a party for you and all of our alumni, and we saw plenty of familiar faces! 🤩🤩
All 4 years of FYSA students were represented last night, which is more important this year than ever - the year of our first graduating cohort (And the go-getters who already graduated… Sorry).🎓🎓
We hope everyone settles into Spring classes easily!!

As the semester ends, so do the travels of FYSA ‘24 😢. GTE is headed home (or to their own adventures), but we will all be reunited for the spring semester. Happy break, happy holidays, and happy travels!!! See you soon 👀!!
