I flew to Thailand for a trip and at the end of it was invited to visit the lions.

I want to tell you I went as some enlightened woman on a spiritual pilgrimage. I didn’t. I went as a tourist. I walked up to these enormous, golden, impossibly beautiful animals, I touched them, and for a moment I was delighted.

And then my body went cold.

Because wild lions do not let you walk up and stroke them. These ones did. And underneath the delight, a quieter voice asked the question I had been avoiding to ask: why are they letting me this close?

That voice isn't truth. It's loyalty to a ceiling that was never yours.

You're allowed the bigger life. Take it.

So why would you do something over and over again? Are you stupid? Are you slow? No, totally not. You would do it because it works. Repetition creates Mastery. Build yourself up. And you can have anything you want.
