Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
Last weekend, we celebrated our graduating seniors at a beautiful ceremony at the Theater Amsterdam. Their achievements and personal growth have left a lasting mark on our community, and we couldn't be prouder of all they've accomplished.
As they take their next steps around the world, we're excited to welcome them into the ISA alumni community. Once a Bear, always a Bear 🐻

When teachers learn from each other, the entire learning community benefits.
Recently, ISA educators came together to share their Thought-full Schools inquiries, presenting the ideas and questions they have been exploring throughout the year.
Through this process, teachers investigate aspects of their practice that matter most to them, learning from colleagues and reflecting on how they can continue to support student growth.
Thought-full Schools is built on a simple but powerful idea: some of the most meaningful professional learning happens when educators share their expertise with one another. By creating space for curiosity, reflection and discussion, teachers continue to grow, ultimately enriching the learning experiences of our students.

Grade 10 math students recently brought probability to life at the third annual Probability Carnival.
After designing and analysing their own games as part of a unit on probability, they had the chance to run their games for live ‘customers’.
The event was a fun and hands-on way for students to apply mathematical concepts, while also developing their creativity, communication, and collaboration skills.

Grade 11 students recently took part in a Collaborative Sciences Project, a two-day, hands-on science experience designed to bring learning to life in creative and practical ways.
Across the two days, students tackled a wide range of challenges, from launching bottle rockets and testing egg drop designs, investigating mystery liquids and even a species hunt. Alongside the experiments, students explored climate change through breakout-style activities and problem-solving tasks that encouraged them to think critically and collaborate.
It was a fun and energetic way to wrap up the year in science, with students working together to experiment and apply their learning in new and unexpected ways.

Fundraising and service learning are long-standing parts of the ISA experience, and this year’s Ghana Concert was another wonderful example of our community coming together through music 🎶
A beloved ISA tradition since 2007, the concert welcomed families to the ISA World Theatre for an evening featuring performances from student choirs, percussion ensembles, and our parent and teacher marimba group, Marimba Mania.
Held annually in support of the Nunya Academy, a music school in Ghana, the event not only gave students the opportunity to showcase their musical growth, but also to contribute meaningfully to a wider global community. We are delighted to share that this year’s concert raised €3,138.
Thank you to everyone who supported this special community tradition.
