Aho! - The Man’s Place

He began in silence,
walking through shadows of fathers and sons,
along paths paved with expectations,
echoes of who he was told to be.

His hands carried the weight
of unspoken sorrow,
his heart a compass without a map,
searching for the place that called him.

He fell—not once, but often.
And in each fall, no failure,
but an invitation to feel:
pain as a gateway, absence as guide.

At the edges of his being
he met love—raw and real.
Not the love of conquest,
but of surrender,
of seeing and being seen.

He looked back, systemically,
saw his father, his mother,
their fates like stones in the river
through which he now flows.

He bowed to what was,
took his place—not above, not below—
but exactly where he belongs.
With his fate in hand,
not as burden, but as promise.

And in that place,
gentleness awakened.
Self-love as soft ground,
compassion as breath,
empathy as direction.

He is no hero, no saint,
but a man who dares to be.
Authentic, present,
in the center of his life.
