In the beginning I loved it: more time, wake up slow, more freedom. Finally God had attended to my wish dream 😁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Then I realized more discipline was also necessary, and nobody was going to give it to me, I had to build it up and keep it by myself.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I tried to build discipline so hard that it broke me a bit, as I was comparing myself to those who seemed to be doing so much, by what they would show on Instagram (bloggers who are always ready, full of makeup, hair done, good clothes, exercising, and making it all happen everyday, while working from home).⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Now I stopped comparing myself, I stopped thinking and checking what others are doing. Instead, I'm focus on what I consider important.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

No, I'm not doing my hair or wearing makeup and nice looks every day. To be honest, I spend most days in my pijamas, and I'm loving it! This photo was taken in one of the few days I was wearing something different than pijamas - posting a photo in my pijamas would be a bit inappropriate, I guess you guys understand 😁⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What I want to say is: find out what works for you. I don't think I am less productive because I spend the day in pijamas. We need to give less f**cks about what others think and do what we feel is good for us.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Sure, an organized environment, proper times to go to bed and eat has helped me, so I keep those rules. But to wear proper clothes, do the hair and makeup does not add a thing, so I don't. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I have been studying Dutch, reading my marketing and self-development books, exercising, and all this in a reasonable rhythm, without stress and crazy self demands.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So far, this style has made me feel good, so I recommend it, but just do it if it really makes you feel good too 😊⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Outro dia eu perguntei pra vocês quais são as suas maiores dificuldades na Holanda. Hoje eu pergunto pra vocês: o que vocês gostam mais na Holanda? Algumas opções:
1- Cultura/infraestrutura de pedalar
2- Segurança
3- Desigualdade social menor
4- Qualidade de vida
5- Natureza e áreas verdes

Todas as opções acima pra mim são válidas, mas já que a foto de hoje me mostra na minha bike, destaco que acho incrível a cultura de pedalar aqui.

É simplesmente maravilhoso poder contar com pistas de bicicletas em quase todo lugar, além do respeito dos motoristas.

Eu adoro pedalar quando está calor, é tão gostoso o vento, a sensação de desestressar e movimento. No frio e na chuva eu confesso que não gosto de pedalar muito não =D

Other day I asked you what are your biggest difficulties in Holland. Today I ask you: what do you like most about Holland? Some options below:

1- Biking culture and infrastructure
2- Safety/security
3- Smaller social inequality
4- Quality of life
5- Nature and green areas

I find the culture of cycling here incredible. It is just wonderful to be able to rely on bike lanes almost everywhere, in addition to the respect of drivers.

I love cycling when it's hot, it's so nice the wind, the feeling of de-stressing and movement. In the cold and rain I confess that I don't like to ride a lot no =D
