CEEC Field Trip ended our school year 2025 in el Tambo where we made cheese, tortillas, and went for an ox cart ride through the jungle! What an amazing experience for the students to learn some local culture and get to eat it too!❤️

Yesterday we celebrated Mothers Day at CEEC with a morning of Muffins with Moms and gifts and fellowship and a little performance written by the children with their amazing music teacher Ms Gloria!!! ❤️

Please join us for a special night of talents! Our CEEC students will be performing a talent show to help give back to the community and purchase school supplies! All are welcome! Come on out for dinner and a show and a silent auction!

In honor of kindness month, we have completed our annual “kindness rocks” project! Our students are some of the most kind, caring , and thoughtful kids around!❤️ Be on the lookout for some sweet messages and kind reminders that you are loved all around Iguana!!!

Wow, it’s been awhile since we shared all of the exciting things going on here at CEEC! We returned in November, and had a 2 week break from Christmas. We have been so busy learning and having fun that time has flown by! Rainy day Just Dance recess has always been a favorite, and of course we still love to play kickball since winning the championship last year! Our staff has been amazing with planning and executing engaging lessons in English and Spanish, and we’ve learned how to play and the rules of a new sport this year: basketball! We’ve even welcomed new students and added middle school this year, so we are now a preschool to 7th grade! Please check out some of the fun and learning that we wanted to share with you over the past few months! We have been working on a one word goal that will describe ourselves for 2025, we have some super awesome goal and amazingly creative posters that will be shared when we finish! Can’t wait to share with you all! CEEC family is the best!!!❤️❤️❤️

Late post, but we ended our school year with a promotion ceremony and school field trip to Granada! What an amazing educational trip that will be remembered forever! Isletas tour, pizza picnic in the park, and a private choco museum class! vacations here we come! 🥳

And CEEC Iguanas win!!!!!!💪🏼 We started out super nervous but came back strong, 24-23 in the last inning!!!! Thanks to everyone who came out in support of our students!!!❤️ Go Iguanas!!!

We have been so busy working hard and playing harder at CEEC over the past few weeks! Crea visits and show and tell Fridays are some of our favorite activities where the children are learning confidence by speaking in front of others. Dance, PE, art, and Science classes are taught in Spanish so our students are immersed in the local language for extra learning! What an incredible place for fun and exploration! ❤️

Happy Earth Day 2024!!! But our students would love to remind us that EVERY day should be Earth Day!🌎

Last week we had the honor to host the lovely authors Meg Gillespie and Kelsey Corey of the book My Friend Breath, a fun and beautifully illustrated children’s book geared to help children develop the skill of self regulation through mindful breathing. What an amazing event that has empowered our students to regulate their big emotions! Thank you ladies for sharing with us! We can’t wait for the next one!🙏🏼❤️
