Vaya Con Dios Compadre

It is with great sadness that I wish to inform you that our close friend and business associate, Kenneth W. Hladun, passed away after a short illness. Bambology and I have not only lost a friend and technical advisor; but, we have lost a great visionary who recognized the totality of what Bambology brings to the indigenous peoples of Nicaragua while meeting World Standards for a Green Company.

His enthusiasm and in-depth technical knowledge combined with an enormous experience made it all seem so easy; there was never a problem always a solution. Ken was unique in that he could develop a vision and then work out all of the minute details to make a vision, reality.

The last time we talked, Ken told me that he was considering running a marathon when he turns eighty. I promised I would wait there at the finish line. Now we stand at a finish I didn’t expect and surely didn’t have in mind.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Jeannie, two daughters, Marusia and Anna, grandchildren, Ivanna, Roxolana, Christina, Lev, Kalyna and Luca and his sister Lorrie.

Йди з миром, мій дорогий Друже! В нашій пам’яті ти залишатимеш ся вічно живим. (Go in peace, my dear friend! In our memory you will forever be alive.)
