In my opinion, ITA (Not us, ITA Nicaragua, we are the good guys.) will bait and switch you as they did with us. We were sold a franchise for Nicaragua when in fact ITA was not registered to sell franchises. Then they called it a license. After we poured all of our money and resources into starting our TEFL training center in Leon, and then constructing a new TEFL school on the beach in 2017, ITA attempted to shut us down using the uncertainty of civil unrest in Nicaragua. The situation in Nicaragua is still the same as it is now, and in Mexico, and in Turkey where they have other TEFL training centers they resell. And then when some of our graduates expressed their disappointment as to why they closed us down, they denied them their benefits as an ITA graduate. Don’t fall for their program, as we did. Their agenda is profit margins, not students.
