It was another wonderful year at the The Granada Christian Education Center. God continues to do his amazing work in the lives of so many children and families. Here's to a wonderful 2024 school year starting in February. Thank you to all who pray and support in one way or another.

Yesterday, at the end of the school year, all parents came in voluntarily to wash, sand, varnish and repaint their children's desks and chairs in anticipation of the new school year. Thats commitment. We love our school community, and they love the school.

First and second grade’s turn to go to the zoo! The pictures speak for themselves. God’s impact on the lives of these children through the faithful work of an outstanding staff is undeniable! Thank you to all who invest in this great work in one way or another.

Today, the GCEC teachers and staff put on a spiritual retreat for our students themed, “Jesus lives - Jesús Vive.” Our students experienced some fun activities, but most importantly, they experienced a personal encounter with Jesus. Life is not easy for many of our students, but they are learning where there true Hope lies. Please pray for our teachers that they would disciple these children in love, wisdom, and knowledge. “…Let the little children come to me…”
Teaching our students to become excellent readers while developing a life-long love for learning is one of our top priorities at the GCEC. Here you see Profesora Evelyng teaching our new kindergarten class their initial letter sounds. Our hope is that by the end of the year, all of our students will be reading. As you can see, they are loving their whole-group lesson. The community in which we serve has many challenges, but we never let those become an obstacle. God is on our side!
