ICT Club Project: DIY Portable Power Bank

As part of the ICT Club's practical STEM activities, students successfully designed and built a DIY portable power bank using lithium-ion batteries, a Battery Management System (BMS), a 5V boost converter, a USB charging module, switches, LED indicators, and other electronic components.

The project provided hands-on experience in circuit assembly, soldering, electrical safety, troubleshooting, teamwork, and problem-solving.

The completed power bank demonstrates the students' technical skills, creativity, and innovation while supporting the club's goal of promoting project-based learning and preparing students for future technology-related careers.

Salamu Alaikum WarahmatuLLah

The students discussed the commencement of the new Islamic year and reflected on its spiritual significance as a time for renewal, gratitude, and increased devotion to Allah. They also highlighted the importance of fasting on the Day of Ashura, noting that it is a highly recommended act of worship which, by the mercy of Allah, serves as an expiation for the sins of the preceding year.

" No Muslim is afflicted with any harm, even if it is the prick of a thorn or something more severe, except that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it."
Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim

This hadith emphasizes the immense mercy of Allah and the reward granted to a believer during times of hardship. Any pain, discomfort, illness, loss, or difficulty , even something as small as the prick of a thorn serves as a means for Allah to forgive sins and elevate a person's status. It reminds Muslims to remain patient and hopeful, knowing that every trial carries spiritual benefit and draws them closer to Allah.
