PRESIDENCY UPDATE🚨NAZAS NATIONAL BODY!

NAZAS CALLS FOR URGENT INTERVENTION IN UTME AND SSCE REGISTRATION.

The National Association of Zazzau Students under the visionary leadership of Rt. Comr. Abubakar Abdulkadir has called on political office holders, philanthropists, corporate institutions etc to support the ongoing registration of UTME (JAMB) and SSCE (NECO) exams.

This is inline with the student's body commitment to support education and promote academic excellence across the corridors of NAZAS.

The presidency is deeply worried seeing many competent and intelligent students risk being left out of the circle due to financial instability and lack of sponsorship and access to quality education. President Abubakar insists that lack of timely intervention and support tends to affect/ prevent a huge number of competent students from participating in the exam due to their backgrounds.

Therefore, the NAZAS-NB has called on stakeholders, philanthropists, political office holders, traditional rulers and corporate institutions to sponsor the registration fees of UTME and SSCE particularly for those students who are orphans or from low income backgrounds. The presidency emphasized that such collective and collaborative efforts will not only improve performance, but will increase participation, success rate, boost confidence and restore the lost hope in students.

The NAZAS-NB hereby, pleads with the earlier stated citizens and bodies to invest more in education, as education impacts the future of the young people and help in shaping a productive society.

2026 NEW YEAR ADDRESS: A CALL TO LEGACY

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim..

Distinguished Alumni, Esteemed Stakeholders, and my Fellow Students,

As we cross the threshold into 2026, I do not just offer you "Happy New Year" greetings, I offer you a reflection and a challenge.

Last year was a turning point. We didn't just survive; we revived a sleeping giant. We proved that the National Association of Zazzau Students is not a relic of the past, but a powerhouse of the present.

Over the months, we did not just organized programs, we reopened a movement, we restored visibility, we rebuild trust, we reignited participation, and most importantly, we brought back our alumni, the very pillars who built this association from its foundation.

Our 25th Anniversary wasn't just a celebration—it was a statement. From the football pitches to the lecture halls, and culminating in our historic Alumni Dinner, we proved that the spirit of Zazzau is resilient, united, and unmatched.

To Our Alumni: The Pillars of Our Heritage

Your return to the fold has been our greatest strength. You didn't just give us your presence; you gave us your wisdom and your sacrifice. You have proven that once a NAZAS member, always a leader. We thank you for anchoring this association.

To My Fellow Students: The Architects of Tomorrow

This is your year to move from potential to performance.
* Do not be passive: Excellence is not a gift; it is a requirement.
* Seek the world: Apply for every scholarship, internship, and fellowship you see. These doors are open, but you must be the one to knock.
* Develop Skills: The world no longer pays for what you know, but for what you can do with what you know.

A Call to Action for Our Partners

To our Government and Corporate partners: Supporting a Zazzau student is the highest-yielding investment you can make. We don't ask for charity; we ask for opportunity. We call for expanded scholarships, research grants, and entrepreneurship hubs. When you empower a student, you secure the future of the Emirate.

Our Final Charge: The Road to Transition

As this administration enters its final phase, our focus is clear: Sustainability. We are not just "finishing" a term; we are finishing a foundation. In the coming days, we will:
* Institutionalize Excellence: Formalizing the systems that will guide future leaders.
* Strengthen Alumni Integration: Ensuring the bridge between students and professionals remains permanent.
* Ensure a Seamless Handover: We will transition with the same integrity and discipline with which we served.

In Appreciation

To my National Executive Council, our patrons, and every member who contributed financially, morally, or intellectually, we say Thank you. You made the "impossible" milestones of our 25th year a reality.
We honor our past. We have strengthened our present. Now, let us empower the future.

Long live NAZAS.
Long live the Zazzau Emirate.
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Abubakar Abdulkadir
National President, NAZAS

A week after our 25th Anniversary, we begin reliving the moments that defined it.

We start by honoring the voices that set the tone — our Keynote Speaker and our Pioneer President, Alh Ahmed Abdullahi Maiyaki (Hon. Commissioner of Information, Kaduna State), whose words, presence, and leadership reminded us of where NAZAS began and the future we must build together.

These moments will remain part of our history. More memories to follow.
